The media could not be loaded. Did I need this? Probably not, but recently bought a number of washable Mermino wool tops. I’ve been handwashing them, but I really don’t want to subject my soon-to-be dry, winter weary hands to lots of time in water. I ordered a cheaper make & model off a different site; it didn’t work and it leaked around the drain hose connection. I scanned Amazon and found this, slightly more expensive unit, which had good reviews. The video is my test run of a load of intimates. I’m using it on my kitchen counter so that it’s easy to add water. I am very impressed with the washing action and speed of the machine. I was surprised to see that it switches washing direction quite often, let alone at all. The basket for the spin cycle extends so you can layer intimates or a top around it. It I think I’ll be using this little washer a lot in the future. It’ll be good for my Mermino tops, getting that slipped coffee quickly out of a shirt and washing the delicate items you don’t want to risk in the washer — bras, I’m talking to you. You can’t load a ton in this little unit — pants, probably not, but it makes quick work of cleaning small or one-off items. I could see using this MWM on a road trip. I’m not sure it’d be useful on a cruise or something like that. I am quite happy with this mini washing machine and will recommend it to friends.

I used this to wash my daughter's and my delicates over the weekend. It works really well for that. I run two cycles per load. One with soap, then one with just water; just to make sure the water runs clear. The spin basket (for drying) doesn't hold more than 4 panties at a time before the pieces start flying out the top of the basket. So, that takes quite a lot of time to go spin dry a load, which is going to have more than 4 panties per load; but the washing part doesn't take long at all. I'm able to wash roughly a week's worth of delicates in one load, but then have to fill the spin basket 2-4 times to dry that entire load. After spinning, the wet items are about as dry as they would have been if they'd been hand-squeezed (basically still wet, just not dripping). So, after a full weekend of testing, I decided that it saves time if I do the following with each load of delicates: One wash cycle (with soap), empty and refill the bucket, one rinse cycle with the fresh water, then just hand squeeze the delicates and place them in the middle of a large bath towel, twist-wring the towel to squeeze as much of the water out of the items as I can, then hang dry them. Honestly, I decided it's not worth even attempting to use the spin-dry feature on this thing (my conclusion after two days of trial and error). But, since I'm using this to wash delicates, this little bucket system works great for that specific use and frees up my big washer for regular laundry. I don't mind wringing towels to dry my delicates before hanging, and it gets rid of more water than the little spin basket does. So, four stars, in my opinion: The wash and rinse ability on this little bucket is superb. The dry feature... not so much.

The instructions state that ONLY baby clothes or adult socks and underwear should be washed in this. In fact, let me quote from those instructions: "It is not suitable for adult clothes, if you insist on washing adult clothes, it can accommodate 1 adult t-shirt at most." Yup, 1 adult t-shirt, all by itself. Oookay. I washed 6 pairs of bamboo fabric undies and 1 thin camisole. The whole cycle took 20 minutes and after the spin cycle there was still enough water in those items to need wringing out. I could have washed those things in my bathroom sink, had them hanging over the shower rod to dry in less than 20 minutes with no clean-up except draining the sink. Before this can be collapsed and put away after use you've got to take a towel and dry everything off or leave it upside down to dry on its own. I really, really wanted to find this useful and I'm very sorry to find it a waste of time and space. Frankly, I can't even imagine it holding enough baby clothes to make it useful for that purpose. What is useful though are the 2 included zippered nylon bags that keep delicates safe in automatic washers - those I will use. The machine itself is just a one and done. 3 stars because it is well made.

Overall, I’m very happy with this portable washer does work very well. washing clothes is very easy to set up. Very easy to clean and store when not in use. just big enough to do an outfit for the summer overall. It comes with two bags. I’m very happy and I would highly recommend it and the price is not bad either.

The media could not be loaded. So I actually got this for my brother who lives in an apartment and the laundromat is expensive. They have a 1 year old so this was just a gift to help wash the easy baby clothes and stuff and reduce the cost a little for their laundry bill. Hence why I didn’t post a how to video. I didn’t want to give it to them used, but I’ll try it out over there and see if I get upload a video of how clean it gets stuff. If it doesn’t work for them, I’ll keep it for my Unmentionables and socks- maybe I will come back with more mates to my socks this way! Seems easy to use and straightforward but I always update eventually! Size could fit a decent amount for the portability of the item. Good quality heavy duty materials. Nothing feels cheap.
