I've replaced the batteries on several phones for family members over the years, and the issue I have with other aftermarket batteries is that they appear to work fine, but then will go from 50% to 5% in an instant. Around Thanksgiving 2024, with a bunch of family over, I ordered 3 batteries all from XYIRMCYF. One for a 7 Plus, 6S and 12 Pro. Each of them originally came with batteries that are under 3,000 mAh from the factory, so I figured the claims of 9000+ on these batteries was an exaggeration. I Ordered one of these to replace the battery in my S8. After installing found it had a 55% charge on it so I connected it to my charger. After nearly 30 minutes on the charger, it had not only not charged but had discharged. Thinking it was a "fluke" and probably just a defective battery, I returned it and had Amazon send me another as a replacement. When I got the "new" one, installed it and ended up with the same results. Batteries would not charge, and would not hold the charge they had. This is neither a phone nor a charger issue as I purchased another(different brand/company) battery and it worked as it should have. I can’t give more feedback besides the battery fits the iPhone 6. The installation instructions are lacking a lot! I have replaced the battery before on this iPhone 6 and the instructions were very good but the battery did not last very long maybe a year. This one had some parts in the box that I was not sure what they are for see picture of blue large plastic, there was a small one with adhesive I assumed that it was to replace the adhesive the held the previous battery in place. But the additional blue plastic is a mystery, there was nothing like it inside the phone. Better instructions and detailed step by step would have been useful, even searched google for the name brand iPhone 6 battery and nothing available. I can only hope that the battery will last longer than the last one I replaced ... show more

The battery arrived nicely packaged with all tools and seals for replacing the old one. I installed it to an older iPhone 8 I had to use it with an international SIM card. No issues with that and the phone works fine with the new battery but the capacity is not 13500 ma/h as advertised. That would make it over 4 times the capacity of the original phone but I can see that the charge will unlikely make it for a full day with not particularly heavy usage. ... show more
