We bought this a a birthday gift for our 4yo and she loves it. I was surprised that the knives actually work and it cut through cucumber easily. We cut cumbers in different shapes with the little cutters and that's very cute as well. The peeler is just for show. We have not used the wooden tool, or the three blue plastic things, that were included. We are not sure what they are called or what's their use. My only suggestion is to have a guide pamphlet included in the box so we know what tool is for what use.

I purchased this for 3 year old grandchildren. They had so much fun cutting up fruits and vegetables. The peeler didn’t peel a cucumber, but did work with an already peeled cucumber. They were able to peel it into long shavings. They enjoyed having their “own “ cutting boards. The kit also includes shape cutters which works well on watermelon. It’s a practical gift. So I purchased another for a friend’s child.

I purchased this as a gift for a toddler and it was loved by both child and parents. The cutting boards are a little flimsy, but do their job well enough. I bought this as a gift for my 9 year old grandson and I was a bit hesitant since it’s labeled 2+ years and up, hoping it wouldn’t be too child like/toyish for him. It was a big hit!! He loves it! My daughter in law is known for slicing her fingers when cutting ANYTHING and was the first to get the knives out for a test run. 😆. I loved this set, especially because I have 3 kids and there was enough pieces they can share and all do something. What I found useless was the potato peeler did not work on any produce. The green slicer, when wash gets water stuck inside. The knifes were my favorite part ! They really cut but still safe enough for the kids to use.

I do not like using knives because I cut my self every time and I saw these I originally bought for my daughter but I found I prefer these over normal knives and they cut so smooth and they don't hurt when you accidentally forget to move your hand.

I bought these for my toddler to cut fruit and vegetables. We always used them to cut play doh, and kinetic sand. It can be used for the kitchen or art projects. I like the different sizes as our toddler gets older we can switch them. The blade isn’t sharp we’re it’ll cut them. I feel safe letting them use it with adult supervision.
