i bought this to use with a difficult tenant. it worked great. even on the 2k quality recording it is still a little grainy but clear enough to read things on t shirts and see faces. the audio quality was great. i wish the camera could be tilted down a little more. while i had it in my shirt pocket it was pointed up slightly due to me loosing weight and my man chest sagging a little. other then that i would buy this again if need. ... show more

I really wanted this product so that I could connect my iPhone to my car stereo as iPhones do not have a headphone or aux anymore. I also wanted to be able to hear map directions as I am a delivery driver. Then finally, to have the option of being outside of my vehicle and playing music as I do a lot of car camping. All of these needs were met with this product. Any device that has Bluetooth capabilities has been able to connect with ease. Never had an issue and many fiends/family have connected their phones, tablets, mp3 players, even a laptop. I don’t think that it changes or dilutes the sound quality (but I have factory speakers so the quality isn’t tip top to begin with.) Sound is clear, not fuzzy, even when turned all the way up. Volume isn’t effected in comparison to a traditional aux cord. Only sound issue is that is picks up and plays electric frequencies put out by the alternator while plugged in and charging. I’ve had this happen with aux cords, too, so it’s not a big deal and not noticeable when music is playing. I don’t have a good idea on the battery life as I keep mine plugged in. (I have an Honda Element and the aux is right next to the car charger. I also keep a dual adapter so I can plug my phone in as well.) I think I left it unplugged once and it lasted around two hours. The size is small compared to other options I had been looking at. It looks nice. I don’t like how it sticks out and isn’t one solid piece though, and I’ll explain that in a second… I have had a couple issues, the reasons for removing two stars from the rating… One being that the aux jack itself has come apart. Both sides of the metal aux adapter have come undone, exposing wires. I fixed it by using a tiny my amount of sticky tack and simply putting it back together (so that I can still take it apart in the future if needed) but I shouldn’t have had to do that. Everytime I went to use it, I would find it had fallen apart. That was an issue. I suppose a benefit to having the separate prices is that you could remove it and plug something else in or replace it easily. Second issue being that when I am on a phone call (voice or video,) the audio input is trash. The person(s) I’m on call with cannot hear me unless I speak directly to the adapter, which is on the passenger side. So everytime I get a call, I have to switch it to my phone speaker instead of Bluetooth. Which also sucks because my car is quite loud on the interstate. All in all, I’d buy this again despite this issues I’ve had, considering I really only use it for music and maps. I do not recommend this to anyone needed to take phone calls while driving, or anyone with an awkward aux placement who may accidentally hit this product while it’s plugged in. ... show more

I have a Harman/Kardon powered speaker that I really like. I has the old 24 pin Apple connector and I was able to continue to use the speaker with a 24Pin to Lightning adaptor. My new iPhone will no longer work with this connection so I purchased the aux connection adaptor and connect to the speaker via Bluetooth and I'm happy again : ) The instructions were clear, easy to follow and it worked on the first try! fact that this thing came apart at both ends of the aux port, but it doesn't put out loud enough music. I can have the volume all the way up in the car, and then switch to the radio or c/d and then it's blowing my ears off. So the audio output isn't loud enough, have to download a sepeate volume boosting app for better results there, but I could see past it if the to aux ports on both ends didn't come apart due to the heat melting the glue that keeps the wires encased. The aux ports will just be dangling and them you have to fix that. You must be very gentle with it. Makes a ringing noise if you're trying to charge and play music at the same time. For best results with this gadget, do not leave in the car so the glue won't melt on the aux ends. ... show more

So far, I love this little receiver. It connects quickly and easily, and the volume capabilities seem far better than my last one. The voice/vocals are a bit annoying when you turn it on, but it doesn’t have static which is a blessing! Would recommend this product!
