INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLYING THE LABELS: ATTACHING THE LABEL TO HARD SURFACES: Labels should only be attached to hard, smooth, clean, dry surfaces. Carefully peel and stick, trying to avoid touching the adhesive while attaching the label to your item. Using your thumb Press firmly and apply pressure for a few seconds to the entire label. The more pressure, the better sticking power. Press the edges firmly and carefully. Wait at least 24 hours before using the item and keep the item dry. This will allow the adhesive to continue to strengthen. Do not peel back the label once it has adhered to the item. ATTACHING THE LABELS ON GARMENTS: Before attaching the label, make sure garment has been washed without using fabric softener and is completely dry. Attach the label only on a smooth, straight, wrinkle-free, clean care tag of a dry garment. Do not apply to the fabric itself or any other tag. Carefully peel and stick, trying to avoid touching the adhesive while attaching the label to your item. Using your thumb Press firmly and apply pressure for a few seconds to the entire label. The more pressure, the better sticking power. Press the edges firmly and carefully. Do not wash the garment for at least 24 hours. This will give the adhesive enough time to bond. Do not peel back the label once it has adhered to the garment. WASHING AND HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS: DISHWASHER: Place products with affixed labels in top rack of dishwasher only. WASHING MACHINE: Use a gentle cycle and low temperature. DRYER: tumble dry at a low temperature. The labels should not come into direct contact with a hot iron. Never expose the labels to boiling water or high water temperatures. Avoid direct contact with products that contain alcohol such as, sun-screen, insect spray, deodorant, and cologne/after shave. The label should be applied by an adult.

These are great labels. I haven't put them to the tests that some people have so I can't testify to their durability, etc., but they look and adhere great. I stuck them on a bunch of my tools and tool cases, where they show up well and are very readable. The purchase was a little weird and took longer than it should have because the labels arrived misprinted. I ordered them with my name and a number (my employee number at work) on them; our employee numbers (at least at this point in time) start with a zero, and the printer/seller omitted the leading zero. In some cases I suppose a leading zero would be superfluous and could safely be omitted...but not in this case (someone at my workplace looking at a five-digit number without a leading zero would have no idea what that number signified, while the leading zero makes it instantly identifiable as an employee number)...and a print order should be printed exactly as the customer ordered it regardless. So I had to contact the seller and request a reprint. The reprint was sent out in short order...but by ordinary First-Class mail, so it took as long again to get from California to New York as the misprinted first set had. Bit of an inconvenience. In the end, though, I got the labels I'd originally ordered and they were high-quality and satisfactory in every other way. All's well that ends well... ... show more

These clothes labels are a little pricey but well worth it. They can even survive washing and drying ! You can customize the tag (color and name) to your liking . I ordered these a few times already , the last time I had an issue with peeling off the labels but the other times everything was fine. They stick to almost everything and are very useful if your child has a hard time with keeping track of his stuff …. 🙄 ... show more

One thing I didn’t see mentioned is that if you only write one line of text it will be larger and centered on the label. So that’s cool. I’m going to put my phone number on the second batch though. Anyway, they are awesome. Very durable and they survive the dishwasher, etc.. I’m using them way more than I thought I would. ... show more

I recently purchased the waterproof name labels, and while I like them, I have found that they never come off the sheet without a part of it folding under itself. This results in wasting a few labels or accepting that a piece of the label will rip off. However, the labels stick really well to anything with hard surfaces, even after multiple washes. While I wish the labels would come off the sheet more easily, I am satisfied with my purchase, but if I ever run out of these, I will look for one that comes off the sheet more easily. ... show more

I first started purchasing these when my oldest started daycare. We put them on clothes, bottles, Tupperware, you name it! They are super easy to apply (just stick them like a sticker and give it a few good rubs) and they stay for a looooong time- countless washes of garments in a washer and dryer, hand washing bottles, dishwashing other plates/cups/bowls. They don’t fade. It’s 3 years later and now my second will be starting daycare. I bought more labels with her name, but all her sister’s stuff still has the original stickers (3years later) They are small but I think a perfect size, really. They are about as wide as most garment tags. I have even placed them over, print on tags, on garments ( so not a white tag, but the info is printed right on the clothes instead) and it has stuck and stayed on that. Great product! ... show more
