I've been wanting to get back into drawing and doodling and whatnot lately so when I saw these I snagged them up... They are absolutely amazing. I love the fact that it has a sharp point side and a flat edge side. The amount of different shades you get is crazy.. This is the first time I've tried alcohol markers and it wasn't a great success. I tried them on fabric and getting used to the bleeding was challenging. I also heat set the ink. After heat setting I dampened the fabric and the ink bled more. I was told that the ink shouldn't bleed after heat setting. ... show more

I'm still getting used to these. I tried them on a coloring page. I removed the page and set cardboard under it because they did bleed through. The colors are vibrant and you see less of your brush strokes. I was coloring with a heavy hand I suppose because the ink went further then I intended sometimes. So take it light at least on paper. They are prob much better on other surfaces. I see they can work on wood or glass for instance. I love the carrying case. I was so excited when I first opened it and so all those different colors! I am not an artist so I'm not familiar with the numbers. I prefer the thinner tip because it's easier to have control but the large tip would be great for larger surfaces. ... show more

I love markers and pens and I selected this set because of the large variety of colors. I also was interested in the two different tips for each. So far I am pleased with these, though I do offer one word of caution. There are 80 markers in this set and there's a broad swath of colors from which to choose. They come in a nice nylon carrier with small trays in it to keep the markers organized, though it would have been nice to have the trays be a little taller so the pens would be less likely to topple when one is removed. These write very nicely and get good coverage. That said... These are very wet but fast-drying markers and if not used with some care they easily soak through a page when writing. This is true of some other marker sets I have used, though, but it is worth mentioning. I do like that these also seem to be relatively low-odor too. This is a nice marker set, with a good selection of colors and they write nicely. They are wet but they dry quickly, they aren't particularly strong in odor, and they have two tips for writing in either fine or broad strokes. ... show more
