This is not unfinished walnut plywood. This is cheap plywood with cheap paper veneer that looks like walnut stain on. It does not cut well on a laser and is very inconsistent. I found with a 12” x 12” piece. Some places with cut other places with Sue, just on a single PC inconsistencies are wide.

The bad reviews are correct, these are not as advertised. I have had no issues with burning or peeling while laser cutting. They’re perfect for a retro background. I hope they come back in stock!

This is the VERY Worst wood product I have purchased in the past year. The wood was flat (that is the only good news)... However, I am unsure if this can even be considered Walnut Plywood. The Walnut a veneer that is actually thinner than paper. If you don't get a full 100% laser cut, then you will end up tearing the paper as you gently try to remove the piece with a x-acto knife. Please see photos. I am going to try to use Walnut stain to fix the issues, but even if that works, I will never use this product again. ... show more

These are 4mm not 3, and they are laminated plywood. when i laser cut them some of the glue does not cut so when i take it out, the uncut laminate glue spots tear. I will use them, but I won't buy again. they are beautiful, but some of the sheets are bowed, so it makes it hard to get a good cut. Buyer beware ... show more

Wood got very burned and sticky when trying to laser cut. The product description showed it laser cutting but I would not recommend this wood for those projects. Walnut paper kept ripping off or peeling when I tried to clean off the residue from engraving. Returning product.

    • Cheap paper veneer, not Walnut finish!

I was pretty disappointed with this purchase. This wasn't mentioned in the product description, but the finish on this plywood is a cheap, printed paper veneer. It's not natural walnut! A lot of the pieces are also curved/warped, which makes it necessary to adjust the height of the laser for certain pieces. I will probably still use this up for a couple projects that don't require a natural wood finish, but I'll be looking somewhere else when I need to resupply.. ... show more

There is nothing wrong with the product It just didn’t engrave as I had hoped The laser cuts were intermittent and it leaves a residue on untouched spots that need to be cleaned I’ll go back to staining my own wood for what I need Otherwise the product came as described and may cut better by scoring
