I am just in awe at the completeness of this tool set! It is not a cheap set - but I believe it's worth every penny. If you just take each of the seven tools plus the tool bag, you're getting them for $4.99 each, which is a bargain. Plus there is a spray bottle (not exactly a watering can but I already have one), gloves, wire, and a few other things. Each tool is sturdy and well-crafted, they come wrapped in bubble wrap plus there is yellow cellophane on one side and turquoise on the other, so there is not a scratch on them. They have thick wooden handles that look like they will hold up well over time. One caution - the base of the bag is extremely huge - around 7"x13", so when I put all the tools in it didn't really stand up on its own until I put the box it came in inside of it to give it some structure. I will probably cut a bigger box to size as an insert when I use this for gardening - but it will be incredible because I won't have to keep running inside for things like sprinkler parts, pond additives and fertilizer - I'm just going to keep it all in the bag. The only things you might need in addition to this set are a better set of gloves and a real watering can. The gloves probably wouldn't fit most men, and I'm not sure what they're made of, but it seems like a type of plastic that isn't that thick - although it fit my hands very well. We have brown recluses and ticks in our yard so I want to make sure nothing's getting through them, but if you're just doing some indoor gardening like putting plants in pots, these should be fine.

This organizer has everything I need. I’m going to just take this with me no matter what my yard plans are for that day. It’s lightweight enough to carry in one hand with a weed bucket in the other for light days. Or if my goals are more ambitious, I can toss it in the wagon or trailer, and when I get where I’m going I know I have everything I may need. There is plenty of room inside the bag for the repotting mat as well as spare shears, plastic bags and disposable gloves for poison oak, spare plastic pots for gathering plants to be relocated, and whatever else I find myself needing to run back for. As I use it more, I’m sure I will add to the bag. Some of the tools (the trowel and the transplanter) are similar enough that if you could trade one out for something you use more. I really like my original weed digging tool and will swap it out for the one included with the kit (only because it’s longer, and it’s an old favorite). I have already added a couple sets of shears for different purposes – they are inside the bag, but could be put in a pocket instead. This is like moving into a new kitchen, it is going to take a few months before I have it down to a science. The bag itself is heavy canvas and seems well made. The tools are also heavy and well made, with comfortable wooden handles. I highly recommend this set, and would be thrilled if someone gave it to me as a gift!

The garden tools that come with this bag is very durable and the bag has elastic sewn in to help hold the tools in while carrying. The gloves are great for any gardening from planting seeds to pulling potatoes. The size of the bag is great for carrying any other items, like small pots and seeds. The bag is cute if being fashionable. The bag and the tools function well together.

The best thing to be said about this set is that it’s extensive. Chances are high that you don’t need all of these items, and for the ones that you do, you can find reasonably priced better versions if you shop around and read reviews. First up, the bag. It’s made of sturdy cotton, but it doesn’t hold its own shape and will fall over immediately if you try to put tools in the pockets for easy access. I have a waxed canvas bag of similar size and design that will stay standing up even if I’ve stuck trowels and secateurs and gardening forks in all the pockets - much more useful. The potting tray also doesn’t hold its shape well, making it easy to spill soil. There are very cheap options available with the same design but stiffer plastic fabric, which will do a much better job forming a proper tray when you’ve snapped the corners together. The gloves have s strange texture and the fingers stick together. The product description says there’s a watering can, but it’s a mister. The markings on the dibbler are hard to read, and the blunt plastic end isn’t going to do well in clay soils or when you’re just making a small hole for a seed. The secateurs are okay, and the wooden-handled metal tools all seem pretty solid, but I think you’ll find you don’t need all of them, and you’ll probably be happier if you build up your own smaller set of higher-quality tools that are just what you need.

I have a large yard with different out buildings. I have been trying to get a yard work kit in each zone so I am not forgetting where it is and/ or needing to trek far away when i see something that needs a tool. The carrying case comes with everything I could need. It does not have a ridged bottom which i thought was odd. It is not necessary, but I have come to expect it. That would be the only thing that could make it better. The soft bottom tends to fall to the side. I could always add some cardboard to help shore up the base if it is really an issue. What I did appreciate was the elastic straps that keep handles from falling to the side and poking you. That was a spot on design choice.

Wonderful garden tool kit. I love the wood handles and the stainless steel implements- they won't rust out like so many stupid tools do. Plus the carrying pouch is a plus too. Excellent.
