Thank goodness for these. My stinker chihuahua likes to slip out of the yard in between the bars on the gates, but no more! These have seriously impaired her ability to escape! 🤣 I only wish they were a bit sturdier. Some of them bent going in.

I used these in my chicken area as have foxes out here and theyve worked great to keep them out. Their easy to install just hammer them in but if you live in rocky areas the legs may bend which is expected as its kind of thin. The paneling itself is strong and welded neatly. Overall its a great option to keep animals in or out depending on your application.

Make sure you either sand the tops of these, or put them so that they fit under the lip of your fence so that no one hurts themselves on these! They have very very sharp edges on the top that stick out. It's like the coating didn't quite cover the tops where the metal was cut, and it actually cut part of my palm because it poked me. Wear gloves when dealing with these, and if you have kids playing in the area, I would try to angle the top part so it goes under any wooden fencing or zip tie it to a chain link one so that way nothing pokes them. The panels themselves are smaller and not quite as sturdy feeling as other brands. The fact that they link together is really really nice though and they go into the ground easily, especially if you have sandy soil like we do. These are perfect for putting at the bottom of a fence so that animals can't come through. Our neighbors dog is digging holes underneath our wooden fence, so we got these to fill in the areas and prevent them from coming in our yard.

These came out of the box looking a little flimsy, but once I got it in the ground, it works fine. I’m using them to go around the base of our shed to keep the dogs from digging underneath trying to get at the chipmunks who live and play under there. I was able to drive the spikes several inches into the ground using a rubber mallet. They were easy to install, and should keep the dogs out.

This barrier set was easy to set up, and 2 ft longer than other sets I've gotten. Someone advised that using a piece of wood on top of the panel, then hammering the wood kept it from bending the top and damaging the finish; I think that made it easier to install, too. The length of the spikes made this work perfectly at the bottom of my fence to keep dogs from digging under to get into my garden. Seems to be keeping the rabbits out also. Nice and sturdy.

The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased the 12 Panels Animal Barrier Fence. At first glance when opening the box there were black metal “gate” panels zip tied into two groups of six panels along with a single sheet used for showing customers how to use a mallet for installation. I could tell these were a tad on the flimsy side. However, still, the idea of a miniature fence for a garden is a wonderful barrier idea for the smaller animals and pests. This is especially true if you’re in and out of your garden multiple times a day not having to step over the larger fences and pulling a muscle. As a dog owner(4 dogs) and an avid gardening enthusiast, Im constantly struggling with my coonhound and dachshund digging up my garden due to the smell of compost. At least now the dachshund will be shut out lol. I provided 4 stars instead of 5, simply due to the quality of the item(being flimsy), the difficulty of my personal installation(not on a flat grassy area), & the shortness of length requiring me to have to purchase another set to complete the remaining area around my garden. Now, if your garden is a straight path on even ground in grass with moist soil underneath, then this is the product for you, but most gardeners like myself don’t place their vegetables there, they dig up ground where rock and other hard materials lay and even have twists and turns or complete circles for their garden. This product doesn’t do well(as shown in the video I provided) with any sort of turns, elevation changes, or debris larger than Lincoln’s head on a penny. If any of those come into play, this particular product then becomes vulnerable, bends, and can easily be knocked down or dismantled. Pros: • The Easy Setup(Level grassy areas only): Very easy setup only in level grassy areas without any debris.(see cons for this as well) • Versatile: It can also be used to keep other small animals such as rabbits and rodents out of your garden. • Ample Length: The 12ft length provided(12” / 1’ per panel) is enough coverage for a small garden(3’ x 3’ square garden). Cons: • The Difficult Setup(Areas with elevational terrain changes or any debris). Bending of the panels happens frequently, length of install heavily increases, & in worst cases damage to the panels requiring a return or replacement. • Sharp Edges: To install, you have to push down from the top to refrain from bending which has sharp edges, so when you revert to utilizing the mallet as shown in directions, the mallet can easily bend the panels as well. • Durability: The metal product provided is very flimsy & cannot withstand any heavy pressure or have any large debris blocking it during installation. •. Panel Locking; The fence can easily pop out of the provided locks. A 1/16” diameter prod into a 1/3” hole. Will have to use zip ties to keep them connected together or bend the prods which could damage the product.
