The birdhouses are really easy to assemble, no nails required. The kit contains 4 different styles but all have the same components. We used them at Christmas for a craft night..all the adults chose a house, then painted it with their own designs and colors. We had one white tree that they all were hung on...it was fun and the tree will be a nice addition to our standard Christmas decorations.

The idea is genius! The wood is quality, well cut, and fits together perfectly. Good brushes, too, although you may need more paint. Acrylic craft paint is not expensive. Great project for children, although I bought these for myself to paint for gifts. No nails! You won't be disappointed.

Received today, three days after forecast delivery. Seems to be worth the wait. Six different patterns, two of each for 12 total projects. Came with 12 each multi color paint wells and brushes, sticker packs, and twine. This kit is not suitable for use outdoors without significant waterproofing- clear urethane before assembly on all sides and especially the edges. You could also use "stabilizing" polymer available at hardware stores - saturate it on and allow to completely dry BEFORE painting or letting the kiddos handle the material. After painting spray with clear urethane. I'll update this review after my four year old grandson and I have at the kits.

This turned out to be a really good purchase. The variety was great. Loved the stickers and the paints were actually really nice paints and not dried up! This would be a good pick up for doing an activity in the house with friends or kids! I was very pleased with this purchase! I didn’t use the paints because I had a plan for Christmas to make gingerbread houses, but still wanted to post what it looked like. 👍

I don’t even know what to do with all of these other than build a crap ton of awesome birdhouses with my daughter! We built four on Christmas and she is loving it. Wish they came with Birds because we’ve found very few in the houses so far. It’s either our painting skills or the area we live in because these bird houses should be calling in bald eagles

I took a bit of a risk buying this since there were no prior reviews here on Amazon, but I'm glad I did! It was a hit at our party (kids ages 9-13) and they all enjoyed it immensely. It is extremely cost effective when you add up 2 sticker packs per birdhouse, the various styles of houses, the paint, and the brushes. It came promptly and was packed carefully and all parts were individually wrapped. Highly recommended!
