I wanted a better set of wine glasses. Due to my cat who likes to go on my coffee table, even though he's not supposed to, and my 100+ pound dog that doesn't understand what he is doing, I wanted something more sturdy. I do have one, literally one, glass that is sturdy with a short stem and low profile, but I wanted another set in case that one goes the way of the dodo. It's inevitable. These are heavy! Definitely real glass, not plastic or other synthetic material. I wasn't sure about the "decorative" glass elements on the sides, but they are fine. Makes them look retro. My husband actually likes them and thinks the glass decorations on the sides makes the glasses more "grippy". I agree. Using them they are easy to use and hold. They do measure at 15.15 oz empty. But that is because they are thick glass, not thin. It advertises 12 oz, but that is probably up to the brim. If you pour to the top of the glass "bubbles" it's really about 10 fl. oz. I use this scale for baking and it is very accurate. I am not going to knock a star for the 2oz since you probably can get it if you pour to the very top, but who really does that???? But it is really 10 oz which is still a good size. They are very sturdy and real glass. Granted, I am not Project Farm so I am not doing a topple test, but they will not topple over as easily as regular wine glasses.

These glasses are sturdy, the color lovely, I really like the texture of them, and they hold just the right amount of moscato to make me happy. They are heavy and solid; they don’t feel cheap. The color matches the picture; a nice light burgundy. Feels comfortable in the hand and would not be uncomfortable to hold during an extended conversation.
