Purchased for a move. The blankets are quite large which made wrapping my furniture pretty easy. I tried doing this without plastic wrap, but you definitely should also buy plastic wrap. The blankets aren't super thick, so the tighter you can pack your moving truck the better. My furniture survived a 1500 mile move with no issues. Additionally, I sold all the blankets for $5 apiece on Facebook marketplace after I finished unpacking, and I probably could have asked for more with the amount of responses I got. Finally, 12 isn't enough. I wound up ordering a 24 pack a few days into packing. I used every single blanket.

For the price, these are decent packing blankets. They are not as thick as ones that you would rent from a moving company but they get the job done. My only complaint is the petro/chemical smell. It was a bit of a hassle but I laid them out in the sun to help get rid of a large part of the smell. Don't order these expecting to use them right away as it will take a couple weeks for the smell to dissipate. Also, you're not going to want the smell in your house while they off gas.

I bought these packing blankets because I was doing a long-distance move. They were great! For the price I paid, they did the job. I was especially worried about my glass coffee-table top. I wrapped the glass with one of these blankets and then shrink-wrapped it--it arrived intact with no problems! I am passing these blankets on to someone else to use. Note that these are not heavy blankets, and they are not meant for long-term use--they are a good solution and should last through several moves. If you just want to use them to cover items in storage, they are a cost-effective solution.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: These are not mover quality, but they work fine if you can get two layers for protection. Good dimensions but on the thinner side and the fabric tears fairly easily.
