Couldn't be happier with my purchase. I've used a high dollar DeWalt and this laser will do everything I did with it. I recently finished a basement and it worked excellent in setting up corner framing to a perfect 90*. The foundation walls were not straight so the I used the laser to set my toe and top plate boards exactly level and straight. I did an accent wall with 1x2's so I needed the baseboards and top trim to be the same from one end of the wall to the other. Using the laser, I was able to get it almost perfect. I had one measurement 1/32" off. This wall was also 40 foot long and I had zero trouble seeing my green line. The accessories that come with it are an added bonus. I installed 4 5/8" tall baseboards, so I used the scissor lift to set them perfectly level. When I used wall mount to install the top trim, it was very handy to have the remote to turn it on and off when needed. The wall mount it very stable and solid with the magnetic base. Easy to adjust up, down and side to side. The case is very nice to have with the cut-out foam to put everything in its place. The only negative thing I could say about it is the fact you have to remove the batteries from the unit and use a supplied charger. Sometime I have to wiggle them around a little to get them to start charging. It's not that bad, but would be nice to be able to just plug in a cord and let it charge.     • Simple, effective level - Can't believe I waited so long!

As someone who has hung a great deal of pictures, shelves, televisions, and hooks over the years, I've gotten pretty good with a standard bubble level, so long as the things I'm hanging are all within 2 feet of each other (the length of my level). When it came to hanging several pictures across 15' of hallway, however, I needed an upgrade. The Wetols laser level has been amazing to use - easy to set up and clearly visible even with all the lights on. I've used it a dozen times in the past few months, and haven't had to charge the batteries yet. I love that it comes with a hardshell case with custom foam insert, keeping it well protected and easy to locate. I've attached it to a camera tripod with no issues, and also to impromptu towers of chairs, boxes, and a few books to hit the height I'm looking for. The thumbscrew-driven platform is a nice bonus, offering infinite adjustability between about 1/2" and 3" to set it just right. At 8-10' away from the wall, the laser line is 2-3mm wide, perfect for being able to split the laser edge along a picture frame to ensure precise alignment. I highly recommend! ... show more

I recently purchased this laser level and have had the opportunity to use it a few times. Overall, I can say that it works well and has been a useful tool for various projects around the house. The laser level is easy to set up and use. It projects a clear and straight line, which has been helpful for tasks that require precise measurements. The fact that it is self-leveling has also been a convenient feature, as it eliminates the need for manual adjustments. One thing to note is that I haven't had the chance to use the laser level as much as I would have liked, so I can't speak to its durability or long-term performance. Disclaimer: the manufacturer has offered a gift card upon proof of a written review. This laser level is everything I expected from the reviews, and given the price. The light is bright enough for indoor work. Accuracy was good, when I checked a few times at the start. The accessories were diverse and helpful. The build quality is commensurate to the price, but sufficient. The same is true of the case. I did extensive research before I purchased, and my experience with the tool legitimately matched my expectations. So, while I'm sure it isn't the best laser level out there, it may just be the best value per dollar. ... show more

This thing is excellent. I used this to level my 18 x 26 cottage, it worked awesome. The building sits on on a series of adjustable floating piers along the the edges and a beam down the middle. Wisconsin frost/winters shift the entire building up and down necessitating readjustment/leveling on a yearly basis. Over the years I've used single beam outside laser levels, water levels and 8' standard levels to do the job with mixed results. Setting up and using the Wetols 12 lines laser was super easy and allowed me to complete the job in a couple of hours, easily saving me a days work. For the first time in 20 years I feel like my cottage is actually level thanks to Wetols. The remote is really handy too, allowing me to turn the laser on and off without having to crawl under the cottage. ... show more
