Great little engine! Fast shipping! Got this as a replacement for one of the kids little off-brand atvs. Bolted right in. Sounds great! East to install. There was no instructions for the wiring harness so there was a little trial and error hooking it up but works great. Starter solenoid died after cranking it over less than 3 times trying to get it started for the first time but luckily I had the one off the old harness. Get a better air filter. The one in my kit was just foam and already ripped and crumpled. Oh and the shift lever is unusable in my application. I honestly don't know what it would actually work in. Lol Overall is it perfect? Nope. But I still have it 5 starts because, the shipping was really fast. Faster then expected by 3 days! Engine is nice. Sounds good. Direct bolt in replacement. Some of the accessories that came in the kit were a little chincy and unusable. Overall it's a great deal ... show more

The media could not be loaded. It came a little low on oil. Wiring took a little while to figure out. This was a special build so I didn’t have some of the safety relays that would be on an atv or cart. Engine started first crank sounds great and runs good out of the box. I put this engine in a CRF 50 clone frame fit perfectly first and second have a lot of torque third and fourth pretty quick TopSpeed around 55 stock carb kind of trash. stock intake threads, stripped after a little bit of pressure but overall fun and cheap. DO NOT buy this engine. I’ve probably only put about an hour total on the engine since I installed it, and the bottom end case cracked already and it doesn’t seem to be repairable. I didn’t have high hopes given the price point but I decided to go out on a limb, and unfortunately I wasted my money. It’s not worth it, spend a little more and get a higher quality engine or you’ll be buying another one soon. Would rate 0 stars if I could, hopefully my heartache saves the next person. ... show more

The clutch was sticky at first, until you get it going and shifting through th gears, then it’s works fine. Been having an issue with the kickstarter though, it goes into like a neutral for a few kicks, then gabs and fires rights up first kick (not grinding noise) Kind of weird.

We ordered this motor to do a rebuild for the second time me and my boys 3, and 5 years old but right away out of the box we had issues got the motor put together and tried to fire it up but we were not getting spark at all we tried everything even replaced the stator plate spark plug coil and ignition switch then last but not least the cdi and we finally got spark but it still wouldnt start and then i decided to use my old carburetor from a previous motor and two weeks after buying it we finally started the motor and took a drive yesterday afternoon now i will say we did purchase the premium 4 year protection plan but we decided to take the time ourselves and work this brain scratcher out ourselves but iam wanting to have my stator plate and carburetor replaced due to it belonging to my other project bike but this motor was garanteed to start with everything it was shipped with but all in all iam pretty impressed great motor excellent performance now i will say the first time my boys an i built this bike it was stolen from us twice in one week we got it back both times with our own hard work but this bike is a family hobby for me and my growing boys as we are all 3 of us new to the power sports world this being our first bike but second time we built it. ... show more
