This is a nice set of golf clubs for beginners. I suppose I am a beginner as I have not golfed in many many years so I may not be an expert on this but it seems these should be classified as beginner clubs. I have not played a round with these clubs yet, however I have hit a lot of balls already and they seem just fine. The bag is lightweight and has a shoulder strap to carry the clubs or sort of wear them like a backpack which is cool. It has the usual zippered storage compartments and a zippered rain hood for the clubs that attaches right to the top of the bag. The rain hood can be totally removed if desired. The bag also has one of those kick stands that have the two legs that come out automatically when you lean it back against the kick stand tab - I hope that made sense. The set came with a nice 1# Driver, #3 Wood, #5 hybrid, 6, 7, 8, 9, PW, irons and a putter. The #1 Driver wood is equipped with a head cover for better protection. I wish I was a seasoned golfer to judge the specifics of the clubs, but since I am not all I can say is they seem to be built very well, they look fantastic, are a great length for me (I am 5'11") and I am able to hit the ball fairly straight after not playing for virtually decades.

This Is a rather surprisingly good, dare I say High Quality Beginner's golf club set that punches far beyond it's weight:) Pretty much everything about these clubs is a pleasant surprise. The length and balance of the clubs are suitable for a wide range of differently sized/proportioned players. The shafts are carbon fibre and seem intended to provide a bit of 'whip' enabling newer players to reach "out there" further than they would with a more std, stiffer steel shaft:). The club heads look very good, w well designed faces and weight distribution intended to amplify the size of the 'sweet spot' contact area. Even the grips are pretty darn good:). The bag is a lightweight, intended for carry type that weighs in a slightly under 4 lbs, yet still has sufficient pockets for your needed accessories. I even like the built in stand which saves a lot of strain on your back over the course of 18 holes:). One thing I really liked about the clubs was the unexpected amount of 'feel' you felt during correct contact with the ball during your swing. You could swing these blindfolded and still be able to tell when you hit a shot 'pure',,the sensation you want to 'groove':) All in all, I think this is an excellent starter club that is likely to get you a lot further into the game than you might imagine.:).,,AND, at this price? I give this excellent beginner's set 5 stars for 'BANG FOR BUCK' value:) RECOMMENDED w/o hesitation.

This is a great beginner's set of golf clubs. It comes with more clubs than some other sets I've seen. They all seem like good quality. They have comfortable grips and are lightweight but balanced. The bag is convenient as you can carry it with the handle or wear it backpack style. It feels sturdy and the fold out legs keep it securely planted on the ground. We have not taken this set out to a course yet, but after hitting balls around the backyard, so far everything has performed as expected.

My 14 yr old finally agreed to start playing golf - so finally the entire family can enjoy a great day on the greens. I would have given him my old set of clubs but he's a pain in the butt left handed kid so I had to get a set that I wouldn't mind upgrading or ditching depending on his level of interest. I was pleasantly surprised by this set. The irons are cavity back - so very forgiving for beginners. I think it's very important he has a good time and not get frustrated. The driver is a 10.5 loft which is pretty standard. Bag is not great, I have to admit. But we are buying this for the clubs. We can upgrade the bag if he needs to. I'd say this is a great set for beginners up until they really get into golf - at which time he can buy his own clubs. Great value for the $$!
