My wife and I are really excited to try this out. It's too cold to get out on the water right now, but we are very please with what we see and received with this boat. It is easy to inflate, and the included battery operated pump gets it up to shape before you have to take over with the hand pump. I actually like that the pump takes batteries, 6AA batteries, because that way I don't have to worry about an internal battery going bad. Also, the pump is pretty quiet. It is A LOT more quiet than say an air mattress pump, and it inflates quickly. The instructions it comes with are not the best. But the good news is the instructions that are conveniently printed on the inside of the boats storage backpack are better if you need help figuring anything out. And the backpack is actually large enough to hold the boat and it's included gear without struggling to put everything in there! The backpack is reasonably comfortable to wear too, as long as you aren't hiking with it for a mile. Short trips to the water with it in it's backpack are no problem. Inflated, the boat is very easy to carry as well. My wife is excited for the paddle board, I'm excited it has a seat! I don't see myself doing the paddle board thing much, but I will use it as a kayak. The seat is reasonably comfortable but I do wish it had a bit better adjustment system to keep it more forward on the boat deck. The fins clip into place and are very solid. There are warnings about how sharp the edges are, and it's true, so be careful when you mount them and take them off. So far we are happy with what we see. It is really easy to set up and just as easy to take apart for transport and storage. It is very rigid and the material seems to be thick and quality. It has a three year warranty! This whole paddle board kit is really great! The board inflates solidly as every good paddle board should, being stiff enough to stand up. The kit also includes a seat, so you have the option to install it or not, giving you the ability to stand, kneel, or sit in the chair. A tiny battery-powered pump is included to do the initial inflating if you'd rather sit around and chat for a while, but it's very small and not super powerful. A stand-up hand pump, with a pressure gauge on it, is also included, and that's what you'll need to use to finalize the inflation so you get the right pressure -- and it's also faster than the included battery-powered pump. There are fittings for the pumps so you can use them for other inflatables as well. A paddle is included, as are straps, and there is also a medium-sized dry bag as well as a cell phone carrier (to keep you phone dry and still use it, since you can use the touch screen through the plastic). And when you're all done and the paddle board is deflated and folded/rolled up, you can put everything into the included carrying bag. So yeah, this is a pretty complete kit. It's winter right now so I haven't done more than just set up and test out the board on the floor, but it looks to be good quality -- the same as you'd find with other brands, even name brands. When the weather gets warm again in a few months, I look forward to getting out on the river and giving it the full test. If it falls short of expectations, I will come back and modify this review. But for now, everything looks great and I'm giving it 5 stars! ... show more

This is the real deal - not a toy. When opening the box be careful as the paddle board is directly under the box seam, so don’t use a knife on the tape. Simple to assemble, and only needed the instructions for the battery powered air pump (which requires 6 AA batteries not included). Use the electric pump to quickly inflate to shape, and then the workout with the hand pump begins. The pump has an inflate and a deflate port at the top. Inflate to 12 to 15 lbs, watching the guage on the pump. Do the reverse to deflate for packing into the storage bag backpack. Almost everything about this paddle board is perfect. Fully inflated it feels like it’s solid foam or fiberglass. The non-slip padded deck and the underside fins are excellent. The seat easily snaps on. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to get everything into the backpack with plenty of room to spare. My one tiny complaint is about the paddle. It converts from long standup to short sit down, but there is a locking mechanism that does not squeeze the outer tube onto the inner tube hard enough - so it can slip longer or shorter without unlocking the device. I looked and could not see a way to adjust it to lock harder. I am sure it’s fine as long as you don’t do something like pushing off of a beach or rocks with the paddle as it might slide to a shorter length. It’s winter here right now, so unfortunately I can’t take it out on the water until spring. I intend to come back and update this review about the fun my grandsons and I expect to have then! ... show more
