  • It's working, but not thrilled about gapping.
It took 3.5 people to put this up and it would have been better with more help. (FYI: the half person was actually 2 people not being very helpful. My dad took responsibility of the directions then didn't read them right, got frustrated and walked away. My mom is short, not very strong, and not very coordinated, so she wasn't helping continually.) One item of suggestion that I don't know if is in the instructions, once the roof frame is assembled, put the roof tarp thing on before putting on the legs. We didn't and it was a little difficult for three short women to do it. Which also tells of the capabilities needed to put the thing together, three short women over the age of forty put it up with a fourth short woman helping on occasion. The reasons for knocking off a star is: 1. The roof tarp was extremely tight and the grommets we're above the pole making it difficult to join to the side panels. 2. The corner poles/panel edges gap to create an opening. We duct taped the gaps, but they still happened. 3. The grommets looked to start ripping, but there holding for now. 4. Some of the poles you slip together and then rotate one to keep from separating (they have a notch latch system). Any twisting of the poles to insert to other poles caused them to untwist from each other. We basically duct taped all joints on straight poles. It seems to be doing well. I bought tent sand bags and I believe that helps. I'm using it to store stuff on my parents property while I'm in process of moving. We put a tarp on the ground and anything we didn't want to get wet we put them on top of things to keep of ground. So far the only things getting wet are what is around the edge of the tent on the bottom. Nothing attaches the bottom of the tent panels to the ground and it just brushes the ground. There isn't enough length in the panels to put anything on the bottom edge to keep it down. So, would not recommend it for what I'm currently using it for. ... show more

  • I hope the manufacturer see this and fixes this problem.
With some what strong winds the cover holes began to rip.The legs fell off too idk how buy my guess is it was because the stakes that hold them down don’t work very well. The rads of the stakes arent long enough so with a little wind they come loose. Update May 17 2021 After reaching out to them and exchanging emails they shipped me a replacement cover. They really went out of their way to help and make things right. ... show more

  • Not for areas with wind
UPDATE 11/10/21 The customer service from this company has been fantastic, after writing my initial review they reached out to me to see if they could help with the issues that I had with the carport. They offered to send me a completer replacement or refund. I still don't believe this is a carport that will work in high wind areas so I have optioned for the refund. Because of this I have updated my stars from 2 to 5 for their customer service alone. That said I do think this car port would be great for anyone not living in a crazy windy area like Wyoming. So I live in Cheyenne WY, it gets pretty windy out here. This didn't last 2 weeks out here and we haven't gotten to the windy stuff yet. So first the good, this was easy for me to put up by myself, instructions were a bit confusing, but I put that down to me not reading it properly, but got it up without any real issues. Used the stakes that were provided and added additional anchors knowing that I live in a windy city. This was located behind my existing garage with fencing on 2 sides, so only 2 real sides to worry about wind issues. First week no issues, fastest wind speed for the week was about 15mph. The next week I woke up on morning to find the entire car port blown over into my back yard over my 6ft fence. A couple of bent poles but not to bad, put it back together that same day. Added more anchors, dug the posts into the ground and used quick dry cement to keep them down. Also planned on purchasing weight bags to help keep the posts down. Didn't last long enough for me to get those additional weight bags installed. Highest wind speed 30mph for the week, destroyed the entire car port. Posts are wrecked some of my more heavy duty anchors were still attached but the posts were destroyed where they were attached. My biggest problem is that no where on the page for purchasing this product does it say it can't handle high winds or long term use, but in the instructions in small print it indicates that this is not intended for permanent use or areas with wind. This needs to be on the selling page. If you are looking to purchase this for a long term use, or have wind speeds of higher then 15mph I would not recommend getting this. ... show more

  • As Described
Easy assembly, sturdy, has held up to wind and rain. I bought a 2nd one but the 1st one (same exact) was about a hundred bucks more!

  • The poles are not made of high quality metal
This product didn’t make it through one night of mild wind. The poles bent and we had to go buy reinforcements for it. We also had to build a ground frame for it out of 2x4’s and screw it to the wood. Missing one of the bungee clips and the Velcro on the sides didn’t measure up with the poles so we couldn’t attach it to the sides. Also the corner plastic clips broke the first night as well so we taped the sides to the poles. ... show more

  • I like it
Went up easy. Parts were well marked, easy to set up, seems strong, and is just what I needed to protect my tractor from the elements

  • Top a bit short but went together fast and we are happy with purchase
Instructions of the frame are great instructions on the coverings is not went together fairly well the top cover seems to be about 4 inches too short to mate with end panels but the wife and I have it set up the best it would allow and other than the top section being short we are happy with it and the price compared to my two stall metal loafing shed makes it a bargain. ... show more
