Bought two, for vehicles and trailers that sit a lot, and am quite impressed. Even when not exposed to the sun for half the day, one keeps the battery in a vehicle with a parasitic loss at about 12.6 Volts. On trailers with Group 31 batteries (no draw whatsoever) the green light comes on in a few hours even on overcast days, if the batteries were nearly charged. One was dragged by its cord for maybe 50 feet (not by me), two have been stepped on by deer, and one was ran over with a large tractor (by me), and they all still work. I need to save up for a couple three more of these great 10W panels. Edit: By now I have at least eight of them.

I got the first one to keep the battery charged on my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee that I drive on occasion and is parked outdoors with the alarm on. It's worked so well I bought I second one for my 2000 Cherokee since I bought a more fuel efficient daily driver. Yeah, I could pull both up to the shop and put my trickle chargers on 'em, but that's a pain and blocks my shop doors. In over a year I've have had zero issues and CAR BATTERIES are expensive. With the alarms on both, the batteries are always charged and the Jeeps are ready to rock without having to drag out the big charger or expensive booster, running a cord and always worrying that I've compromised the existing battery. Having said as much, I just put the panel on top of eithers roof and let it do it's thing. I do not use the suction cups and have not tried it mounted inside either vehicle.

Works well for my camper when parked for longer periods. Easy to install and not obstructing the front view. Only problem is that it doesn’t stick well to the window. The plastic pads to secure keep coming loose and it falls to the dashboard.

Even when storing my RV in the fall, after sitting for the entire winter, it keeps the battery charged and my big old RV fires right up in late spring. Lightweight and compact it easily attaches to the interior windows with the included suction cups and holds tight.

Like other posters I am a believer. I have a 2009 Honda Accord EX sedan. My car sits and its parked outside. I put the solar panel on the dash and hook the battery cables and it does the rest. It shut off when the battery is fully charged. If it is still hooked up, sun is out and the battery is drained in anyway, this will automatically turn on and start to trickle charge as needed. I will buy another one for my wife's car. Before this I had to drive my car about 30mins for the alternator to charge the battery. I only need to do this in the winter time, I dont have this issue in the summer time.

Awesome item for me, it’s worth 5 times it’s actual cost. Works amazing with its built in smart start stop technology for care free battery maintenance. I installed in a truck I taking hunting regularly and at desolate mountain top ranges with little to no one around to help in case of stranded, due to dead battery in the cold areas or long days till returning to truck, from hikes down the mountain. To know I’m doing my best to be safe and not stuck in the water when I return, and have a 4x4 truck that will start, again is worth every dime! Wired straight to battery terminals for sure charging! Works amazing!! A++!

I bought this charger to charge my chicken coop battery. The battery was brand new. It started charging fine when the sun was bright. However apparently with lack of sun, the charger drains the battery dry. Any reliable dependable company would perform decent testing before selling devices to the public. Apparently with only a 30 day warranty, many miss this deadline and the company pockets the cash. A dirty and unscrupulous way to make money from known defective devices. Fortunately I detected the the problem with these defective units and is now in the return mail looking for a refund. It is sad that many electronic items made in China are just not reliable and it is as if those Chinese companies will do anything to make a profit, including ripping people off, changing the name of their company often, and market just plain defective junk, then they hide and do something else. Sick of these Chinese products which wastes peoples time and fall apart after the warranty period has expired. Shame on YOU who do this!

The media could not be loaded. I have a tractor and a lawn tractor that are used once a month or two. I bought an 18W charger from the same seller to maintain the batteries. I swap between the two vehicles once a week. I am so pleased with the product that I bought this 10W charger for the lawn tractor so I don't have to swap. They sit outside full time. They are exposed to the elements. The chargers are durable, sustaining rain and hot sun. I even dropped the older charger once or twice. No damage. The video shows the connection from the 10W charger to the battery. Super easy. Just match the polarity and done. You may notice the cable to the battery has an inline fuse. The fuse is not part of this product. The fuse is not necessary for use of the charger as it has its own protection circuitry. I added the fuse to protect my water pump; I just unplug the charger and plug in the water pump. If you do not need to power accessory just use one of the cables that come with the charger. The photos of my lawn tractor show the 10W charger, with green frame. One shows a red LED while charging; the still photo cannot show the LED was blinking red. The other shows a steady green LED after battery was fully charged. The photo of the tractor is my older 18W charger with blue frame. Same setup under the hood.
