The media could not be loaded. Your getting what you paid for. I purchased this charger for a couple reason one the length which is covienent for any households especially my living room, next my husband & I for some reason every time need a charger at the same time…I keep my Apple 240W-2M charger in the living room because the length again is convenient & it charges super quick which we love so honestly i didnt feel like paying another $32.00 so i just a bought this one. First thing: is that i am seeing a lot of reviews/photos saying this product caught fire…i mean its their fault: let me explain this charger is GOOD its not the best but it does it job as a super fast charger. You have to take care of a product like this…meaning you have to keep an eye on it a super fast chargers tend to get hot in the first place because of the amps its giving out. This is why you have to take care of your product & keep an eye on it. At times in the middle of phone charger i check the adaptor to make sure its not getting hot its just a safety precaution for any fast charger that’s cheaper. As in my review i wanted to put the charger to test…to see what my phone (IPhone 16 Pro) will be at in 30 mins. As a result it went from 53% to 80% in 30 mins…GREAT (: BUT you have to look at the price that you are paying: $12.00 when Apple has a fast charger which is $32.00 THE PRICE MAKES THE DIFFERENCE because the apple fast charger 240W doesn’t get hot at all. This product is great just keep it mind that you have to keep up with it. I for safety precautions wouldn’t recommend putting it behind a bed or a couch, falling asleep or leaving the house with something charging with any fast chargers in general.

I smelled something strange in the middle of the night and didn’t think anything of it. Well, I couldn’t sleep and it was 4 AM, so I texted my husband asking if he left the gas oven on or if he was cooking. He said, “No.” I start feeling sick when the oven or stove is on due to the fumes of the gas. So that’s why I thought it was that at first. All I smelled was a chemical smell, then started feeling sick, and my throat started to hurt. Like what happens when I smell the fumes of the gas stove/oven when we cut it on to cook. I’m super sensitive to fumes from fires and anything burning. I also have a great sense of smell, since having 3 kids my sense of smell has improved a lot. I was on the phone when the smell of burning chemicals became stronger. Luckily one of my friends called me at 5 AM. I heard a spark sound while on the phone and still smelled something burning!! I immediately checked my charger, due to the spark sound being so close. My laptop charger was plugged into the same surge protector, and it was not hot. However, the phone charger on BOTH ends of the cord, and the plug-in adapter were VERY HOT. I unplugged it from the surge protector and there are burn marks. The cord was melted into the adapter that plugs into the wall and there were burns inside of it too. I’m just lucky I caught it when I did and lucky it didn’t catch on fire. I’ve only had this since March. It was fine until now, however it was NOT the charger I was using on a daily basis until June. I have 2 of these. I ordered the pack of 2. So I will not be using the other one. DO NOT BUY!!!! This is a fire hazard. I hadn’t had my phone plugged in long before it started to get hot and burn. I also don’t keep it plugged in when not in use. It almost caught on fire and I’m lucky that I smelled it, couldn’t sleep, and heard it singe/spark while I was on the phone. Or else there would have been a fire right next to me while I was sleeping. I literally have my phone plugged in right next to me. I’m glad I’m using a surge protector, there’s no telling what could have happened if it had been directly plugged into my wall behind my bed. I usually sleep with ear plugs in, so I would have not heard the spark, had my friend not called me at 5AM knowing I was still awake. I knew there was a reason I couldn’t sleep.

This is a convenient set of 2 - I have bought two sets so far, one for home so I can set up a second charging place for my iPhone and tablet without having to constantly move chargers, and the second set to keep in our RV so I don’t have to worry about remembering chargers. They charge my devices well and relatively quickly, and the long cords are really convenient.
