I purchased this set for the clubhouse at a community I manage and the residents along with guests constantly thank me for adding this to our fitness center. I love the grip and the rubber weights are so much nicer than weights without the rubber covering. Some have said there was a bad smell, but I don't notice that at all. The set arrived in several different packages over the course of several days. After the first delivery with only 4 dumbbells, the order said delivered and it freaked me out. This may happen when being delivered, but just hold tight, the packages should all arrive within a few days. The stand is pretty sturdy as well. I have no complaints. I highly recommend this set as it's less expensive than others and meets the needs perfectly.

Pretty standard dumbbells, high quality, durable, rubber ends. This is the norm for a good set of dumbbells. All I can say is they’re durable, fit the hand right, and seem like they’ll last forever. You can’t go wrong with these.

Unfortunately there was hardware missing so I am unable to assemble the rack to hold the weights. Only about a third of the hardware was in the package. Very inconvenient. Can I get a new complete set of hardware by Mon. 5/26 ?

I recommend these BBRUN 1 Pair 5LBS Set of Hex Dumbbells. The Dumbbells are made of Iron, the center Handle area hs raised knurled surface for a good gripping surface and it has a silvery coating to aid in Sweat resistance. The Ends of each of the 5 Pound Dumbbells are Hexagon shaped and have a Black coating to prevent rust. The Dumbbells are made all in one piece and the design and materials used will help make these Iron Dumbbells long lasting. I really like the 10" length of these weights, they feel well balanced in your grip and those knurled surface help you maintain your grip allowing for correct form during your exercise routines. These Weights are small enough to fit in out of the way areas for storage and the Hexagon shape prevents rolling. These weights are so much better than the old plastic sand filled dumbbells and just need a good wipe down after each use to keep them looking new.

I have bought hex head dumbells before. These ones had a really strong chemical odor when opened, much more than I've experienced in the past. This could just be because they are newly made and haven't sat as long. I bought these to replace the plastic covered 5 lb. dumb bells and I like these much better. They weight the same, but these just feel better to use.

The most important thing here is that they each weigh 5 lbs and as a set 10 lbs. They look great and are well made they have just a touch of texture to give you a nice grip. They don't have a rubber coating so they could can and will mark wooden flooring. This is a nice quality set of weights and a good value for what you get.

This is a really nice set of 5lb hand weights. The quality feels great and the construction is solid. I especially like that they’re hexagon shaped so they stay put and don’t roll away when I set them down.
