This heated RV water hose has been a total game-changer for our winter setup. We camp year-round, and temps here can dip well below zero and this hose kept the water flowing perfectly the entire time. This heats up way way better than i thought it would, if possible, at some rv camp sites, ill wrap the sewer hose with this, keeps sewer hose defrosted, too

11/30/25 Update: After leaving the 1st review detailing the leaking issues, the merchant promptly contacted me and apologized for the problem with the hose. They offered to either refund the purchase price or send me a new hose. I elected to receive a new hose and I had it 2 days later. The new hose is performing well with no leaks, although there is a slight "plastic" taste in the water. Hopefully this will subside over time. The merchant's positive response in rectifying an issue with their product is appreciated and I would buy from them again. 1st Review: The hose leaks from both ends where the hose crimps/seals to the fittings. There's no way to fix it without cutting the hose and making new crimps/seals

The listing CLEARLY states the hose is self regulating and does not heat when the temperature is 47*f or higher. Furthermore the listing plainly states it heat production is regulated by the out door temperatures, so that the hose produces more heat the colder things get outside. This is not true, and the customer service rep plainly stated this is not true. (see comments below) I set up the hose and plugged it in while the daytime temp was 73*f and the night time temps are dropping into the 30's*. According to the listing, The hose should heat at night when it is needed, and turn off during the day when it is no longer needed. This is not the case. I was burned by the water because it was so hot while the temps were above 70*f outside. I contacted the seller for assistance and was told the hose does not heat the water inside the hose. If it does not heat the water inside the hose how does it prevent freezing? LOL. Below is the response from the seller: Our water pipes heat up when they are energized. The hose is aimed at freezing water pipes in winter to prevent water pipes from freezing. There is no function of heating the water inside of the pipe. Therefore, we recommend that you can use it below 32℉. I am not going to wait until 2 am to go outside and plug the hose in only when the temps are below 32*. They did give me a refund, and did not require me to return the hose. UPDATE - Because of my full schedule, I did not get around to removing the hose until today. I have noticed the hose produces a gas of some sort when water sits in it over a time... as in 30 minutes or so. You have to let the water run until all the water that was in the hose has been purged before the foaming goes away and you get good water. Since I have a different hose, I decided to disassemble this hose to see what could cause the foaming, since the listing said it was a silicone inner hose, it should be inert. It turns out this hose is nothing like the description. It is a regular garden hose with heat tape on the outside. There is absolutely NO temperature regulating electronics present, and no silicone interior. It is very durable however, and the heat tape is very effective. I truly wish they had not lied about it, and had actually produced what they said they did.

So far going just taken delivery Nd not fitted yet, the apparent quality of the product, the security of the packaging and timely delivery, rates this product as a 5 star buy. The digital thermostat is a great idea and a welcome enhancement. The hose and it heated element are flexible enough to run cleanly and seems heavy enough to suggest a robust build. I do have a minor question submitted to the seller, but that does not affect this review. Well worth the spend A++++

We purchased this heated RV water hose when we were camping in central Illinois during late winter. It was used regularly from February 1 through the first week of March, with temperatures fluctuating between about 15°F and 60°F. During that time we did not experience any freezing issues with the heated hose. In contrast, our regular water hose actually froze to the brass fitting during a cold spell. After switching to the heated hose, we had water flowing again right away. It has now been connected for about 24 hours in temperatures around 19°F, and it has continued to work without freezing. The electrical cord is long enough that it can stay elevated and away from potential water leaks or puddles near the hookup. The only limitation we ran into was hose length for our campsite. Our travel trailer’s water connection is toward the rear, while the campground hookup was at the front of the site (likely designed for a fifth wheel). Because of that we had to connect to an adjacent empty site to reach the water source. Overall, this hose performed well in real cold-weather camping conditions and solved a freezing problem we had with a standard hose.
