When I ordered it I was hoping that it fit in my Satisfye Slim Pro Grip case. I was soooooooo happy that it fit perfectly. I would recommend getting a pair of Binbok split controllers because they fit in the case perfectly with the battery pack attached. I also have room underneath my Switch screen for my game cart cases. The battery came 75 percent charged which was a plus. It looks like it is made perfectly for my type of setup. I can use the very sturdy legs on the battery if I want that perfect angle or stand it freely without the legs because of how my controllers are made at the bottom. I love having that option. The battery is legit and I love it. It is not heavy at all but you can tell a little weight has been added to the device. One thing I do not like is that when I plug my BT adapter in the bottom of the battery when it is attached to the Switch, it is not recognized by my Switch. That sort of bummed me out because I can't use my airpods while the battery is attached. I guess i will have to invest in a pair of wired earbuds. I love this battery and it compliments my handheld setup perfectly.

I took this on a long plane trip and it kept my switch charged when it started to die. Unit itself charges pretty quick. It does add some weight to the switch but not enough that it deters from playing. Someone on the plane was super jealous and said they were gonna buy one when we landed. It did fit in my simple switch case, while on switch which made travel easier. Hubby wants to get one next time we travel lol

Overall, I'd say this is a great product if you need to extend the life of your Switch. I'd say it just over doubles the life of my Switch while I'm using it. It's not quite powerful enough to really charge up your Switch while you're using it, but it will stop it from losing percentage most of the time. The biggest issues I'd say this product has are that there is no way to plug a standard USB cable into it to use it as a normal battery pack, and it blocks the built-in speakers of the Switch, which makes the audio from your games a little sad and muffled. It's also a bit heavy and awkward on the back of the Switch but that's to be expected.

I like to travel and bring my switch with me, so I can enjoy games when I am bored at airplane or other places. This battery case with full capacity did give me about 2x of battery life. It's not 3x, maybe it's because I play games at the same time. The ventilation hole did not get too hot which is a good thing to me. I really like the pop up design of the upper case even though it might be a little bit annoying of plugging in your switch for charging for the first time because of the small space. But it's not a problem after I learned how to use it, you got to find the perfect angle. However, I do hope it could be more lightweight, otherwise you might feel a little heavy when you hold the switch and play at the same time. However, this might be the issues in other battery cases as well. Instead, if you like to put it on the desk and play, then this is a good battery case you should buy.

This was a last minute gift on my 8 year old son’s Christmas list. He is constantly running the battery dead on his Nintendo Switch and even after replacing the charging cable, it still wasn’t holding a charge for very long. This backup battery has fixed that problem! It’s so easy to use and pretty self explanatory. You just plug the provided charging cable into the back up battery to charge and on the back of the battery it will display 4 green lights indicating that it’s fully charged. Then you just slide the switch into the backup battery case and you’re ready to go! The battery lasts quite a long time and I no longer have to hear my child whining about how he can’t play Fortnite because his Switch is dead! I would definitely recommend this product!

The fit and finish leaves a lot to be desired, cheap injection-molded plastic parts do not fit seamlessly together. The plastic cover for the game cartridge compartment also broke within the first day after only being opened and closed 4 times, which makes me question the quality of plastic used. The actual internal USB-C port is slightly misaligned with the opening in the bottom but it can thankfully still be plugged into and charged. The electrical components do at least seem to function without blowing up or melting, so that's something going for it at least. Overall this is a good idea that was executed rather poorly and in a half-assed manner with cut-rate materials. Also the power level indication leds on the back stay illuminated the entire time the unit is plugged into your switch. -Update- Wound up returning the unit, battery life was a joke. The charge indicators showed a full charge, but it barely lasted longer than the factory internal battery pack in my switch. The switch has a 4310mAh internal battery, and my switch is a very early unit so has seen a lot of use and undergone its fair share of charge/discharge cycles so it may not even properly utilize that full capacity and runtime anymore. But even assuming it still has the capability to use the full 4310mAh capacity judging by runtime alone I would estimate that this battery case only has a functional capacity of around 4000-6000mAh at best. Given the weight of the unit I would be willing to go a step further and voice my suspicions that there may be an element of fraud here in the manufacturing and advertisement of these units; given how heavy this battery pack was for how low of a capacity it seemed to have I would suspect that the advertised lithium-ion cell batteries may be being substituted for less expensive sodium-ion cell batteries that are beginning to become widely available in China.
