This works great. Since it is a real original console, there is no joystick input delay. i tried 4 clone, single and multi cartridge system and all of them had wired joystick input delay. I don't know how anybody can put up with the delay. The light gun does not work unless you hook it up to a CRT tv. Does not work correctly on arrival but good cosmetically. Arrived with red blinking light of death. Opened console up and found dead fly which leads me to believe it was not thoroughly cleaned if at all. All 72 pins were bent and had to be fixed. The fact that a REFURBISHED NES console didn’t even have the pins fixed is a true lack of care on the seller’s part. ... show more

Is/was listed as renewed, pulled item out and plugged it in and the system didn’t work, had to order parts and still didn’t work, ordered a like system and games work fine. Don’t recommend this product.

In conclusion, nes worked. It didn't work at first. But when I cleaned and put the game cartridges properly, it worked. If nes doesn't work, please try cleaning the game cartridges first. The controller is not genuine.

Looked brand new and completely renewed, I was actually really impressed with how new the gray looked. However, it was not the console my dad had games for. Had to return and could not use because we didn't have any carts for it. Womp womp. But if this was what I intended to purchase, I'd be raving anyway. Be advised- this does NOT come with an RF switch adapter, which you will need if you want to play without the composite color cord cables! If you want to hook up with the coax cable, you will need to buy this adapter! Despite this oversight from me, the product was delivered as advertised.
