I bought two of these wardrobes a few months ago, and I still very much like them for a number of reasons. First, they are well designed and crafted, using solid hard wood that is precision cut, shaped and finished. They are very large and hold a large amount of clothing and storage items. The hardware used is top quality, so the drawers slide and close smoothly, and the door henges are the high quality soft close design. The assembly instructions are well drawn out and written with plenty enough detail to make it easy to follow. The packaging used to ship the wardrobe is extremely well done, leaving little chance of damage during transport. (Three separate boxes for each wardrobe, 80 to 90 lbs. per box.) Though this product is a little on the pricey side, I feel that the quality of what I received is well worth the price. However, a word of caution: If you choose to order one of these wardrobes, make sure you know exactly what you want before you place your order, (color, style, size, quantity, etc.), or that you put in your cancellation order within 30 minutes of your original order, because orders that are cancelled due to customer’s discretionary change of mind, or orders that are not cancelled within 30 minutes will be shipped regardless of any cancellations, and the return shipment will be at the customer’s expense. (Return shipment of all three boxes through UPS will cost a total of around $425.) Neither Amazon nor Overstock will pay for the return shipping unless there is some visible damage or obvious manufacture’s flaw with the product. You won’t see any of this information on the promotion page for the product. So as for the wardrobe itself, they are great and worth the money in my opinion. Return shipping and Cancelation policies, not so great in my opinion, and need to be revised. (Why can’t a cancellation order be processed as quickly and efficiently as an original product order?) Ordered two mocha to replace outdated closets in my 1939 home. They are beautiful and will give two adults plenty of sturdy, well-made storage for clothes and shoes. First one took 9 hours to assemble with two people. Second took five. Heavy pieces. Easy instructions. Doors are soft close, but drawers are not, so I bought round cork stickers made for softening the sound of kitchen cupboards and those work great. I want to start by saying this is a beautiful, sturdy armoire once put together. I did not feel this was as easy as it was made out to be to assemble. Nonetheless, I got it done. The doors were not aligning correctly so I had to make several holes that I wish I hadn’t but you can’t see them unless I open the doors and point them out. Also, I feel that for nearly 1k it should have come with shelves instead of me having to purchase them separately. For this and for issues with the middle doors is the reason for my score. I will say, do take the time to ensure you have all the pieces before assembling so you don’t get in trouble mid build. ... show more

    • Hope you like putting things together. Once it is, it is decent.
For me putting it together on my own took a long time (6-7 Hrs). Did not like the hardware and connection choices. The hinges were quite frustrating. Instructions only have pictures, no words. But got through it and it is pretty good.

    • 5 hours for a sturdy product!
This is a really nicely machined piece of furniture. It was relatively simple to put together, the directions were easy to follow! Definitely a 2 person build, and I don't recommend assembling in a heavily furnished room. We didn't have to move it far from where we assembled it, so I don't know what it's like as far as that goes. When it has you tip it over to install the top and back panels, I recommend using some of the Styrofoam packing, wedged underneath midway, to raise it off the floor to facilitate. This is not made of Weetabix, as cheaper options are. It is (mostly) pine and I expect it will last us a long time. Great value, overall! ... show more

Went together quite easily. Seems quite sturdy. All the parts and pieces were there. That is the most important aspect of any kit.
