I got these skewers for grilling as well as making fruit kabobs. So far I have only tried them out for the former usage. I made kofta using these skewers and it turned out great! I didn't soak the skewers beforehand as is sometimes recommended with grilling but they only browned a bit in the 10-15 minutes they were on the grill. They were sturdy enough for this purpose but I did have to break some to fit leftovers in a food storage container and they weren't too hard to break when I was trying. I plan to also use these for fruit in the near future. I am happy with these skewers!

We actually use these in our flower and decor business for various purposes. Great for fruit arrangements and cash bouquets. They stick well in dry foam, and are easy to adjust the length just by snapping where you need to.

Bamboo skewers rock for grilling. Disposable but relatively healthy for the planet and with decades of tried and true usasge. Just soak 'em, stick 'em, and grill away. No splinters good length, and 100 in a pack.

The skewers are nice and smooth, with a pointy end. They will work well for kabobs on the grill. I ordered 12 inch skewers, the package says 12 inch skewers, but the skewers are less than 10 inches long. There is even a ruler on the side of the package (or my personal tape measure). Otherwise, I would have given them 4-5 stars.
