- Advantages of Baltic Birch: Known for its straight wood grain and attractive pattern and light coloration. It is also strong and durable. It has superior strength and stability. Uses are endless but popular uses are laser cutting and engraving as well as scroll saw work. Perfect for routers, CNC and wood burning too.
- Patches: As can be seen from the image, patches are subtle and color matched, but when stained, the patch is very obvious. If you display both sides, the patch will be noticeable.
- Here is the official grading system: Grade B - Selected one-piece face, generally light and even in color. Occasional small pin knots and some brown streaks may be allowed, but generally no patches, voids or mineral streaks. Grade BB-One-piece face generally light and even in color. Pin knots and mineral streaking or discoloration is allowed with occasional sound tight knots permitted. Remember that wood is a natural material and so grain patterns can be different than pictured.
- INDIVIDUALLY INSPECTED: Every sheet is manually inspected for flatness and patches. We offer these without patches to enusre the Premium B/B sheets to give versatile use for many crafting needs. Both sides are smooth finish and perfect for those who needs to use both sides as equal surface.

By far the best quality of plywood for lasering that I've purchased. I was hesitant to go with anyone other than my usual supplier, but took a chance on Craft Closet because of the better price. The Baltic Birch Ply that I purchased has a very nice grain pattern to it. The sheets are very flat even more than my other supplier. The packaging was nice, with the sets securely bundled with straps. The shipping was very prompt. I'd highly recommend this product to anyone and will order from them again!

I will be ordering more from this supplier. My package arrived on time. Once opened I found it packaged extremely well. It was shrink wrapped and protected around the edges. Since COVID my regular supplier is not able to get any 1/4 inch (6mm) Baltic Birch. I normally buy 5' X 5' sheets. While this is a little more expensive I don't have to go through the labor of breaking it down myself so I do save time and time is money.

Fantastic quality. This wood is very stiff and strong. I didn't truly appreciate how good it was until I compared it to what was available at my local hardware store. This wood is 5 ply. I'm not sure of the number of plies the other wood had, but it was very flimsy. I feel very fortunate to have purchased this wood. I would definitely purchase again and recommend.

All 20 pieces I ordered were in excellent shape- I wasn’t expecting that. They are sturdy. I didn’t use them for engraving, but rather to make a facade for my cubicle. They are very uniform. Not much warping if any. A good product.
