The media could not be loaded. I was totally skeptical. I've heard about silk pillows keeping hair from getting frizzy but I didn't think it would really do much for me. I have thick, wavy blonde hair (thanks Grandma!) that gets frizzy with the least amount of moisture in the air, or just if I brush it when its dry. I use a lot of smoothing products to keep it under control but still need to flat iron or curl it is Its going to look smooth. But honestly I don't like to damage my hair by over styling and yet still want nice looking hair. I use high end shampoo and conditioner too but even those don't really tame the frizzies. Then I bought these pillow cases because they were pure silk, reviews looked pretty good and the cost was worth the try. I've had them for a month now and wont sleep with anything else under my head. I recently went to Europe for two weeks and brought it with me to use on all the pillows I had at the different air bnb's. Thank goodness because the sheets were not the best quality and it was so nice to not have scratchy cotton on my face. The gray is a perfect soft tone with my modern bedding, they are smooth and soft without being slippery like the satin pillow sheet set I had in my 20's that I thought would be cool... it wasn't. The zipper just disappears and keeps the pillow snuggly contained. (see my video attached) The silk doesn't feel cool or hot, it just 'is'. The most amazing part is the first morning I woke up my hair looked way smoother. I thought it was just the conditioner I had put on it. The next few days I noticed my hair being way less frizzy in general. I thought again, coincidence... maybe the weather is just cooperating? but even so, my hair was smoother than it usually was. OK, no smoothing products test.... and still my hair was like a normal persons (whatever that means!). All I can say is, somehow it works! Its been a month and my hair has consistently looked and felt better since the day I started using the silk pillow case. I'm finally a believer. I wish I had bought one years ago! The JiangJue price is fantastic for one let alone a set of two. I wash it by hand in my sink, hang it to dry in the shower and its dry within a few hours. I hope it works for you the way it has for my (used to be) poofy, frizzy hair.

As much as I love a 600+ Cotton pillow case- I found they were retaining too much moisture during hot weather and I needed a towel to cover the case. I read that SILK is cooler and would help. After a couple months of use I find they wash wonderful - dry well in air or the cool dryer temp. They DO NOT get damp if you are sweating. I have NOT woken up with a damp pillowcase. These have worked out very well and I will continue to use SILK going forward.

This feels like other silk pillowcases I own (but for standard/queen pillows). However, the zipper looks awful on this - looks like someone's first time sewing a zipper into a pillowcase. I'm embarrassed to have it on my nicely made bed. In addition, I wear moisturizer on my face at night and it has stained this pillowcase while my other silk pillowcases do not show any stains from the same moisturizer. I will not be buying this brand in the future.
