    • Low temp applications only
Decent crucible for low temp applications. Its quite fragile and very prone to thermal shock, even when cooling in open air. I accidentally melted straight through molten copper as well as the bottom of the crucible with an oxy-acetylene torch so I wouldn't recommend going with anything hotter than charcoal or propane. The holder fits perfectly. The diameter of the top of the crucible is just over 2¼ inches. ... show more
