Aluminum Oxide can be used in wet and dry blasting applications for cleaning, deburring, etching and finishing. Aluminum Oxide is ideal for etching the surface of glass as it’s hardness is greater than glass. Aluminum Oxide won’t break down as fast as glass blasting media and has a longer cycle life than most blast media.

I couldn’t verify the actual grit of the media as I just dumped it right in the blaster but it appears to be the same as other 100 grit media I have. The media is double bagged in the box and tied with a zip tie. I seem to have a moisture issue with my air but I didn’t find this to clump up in the gun. It would be nice if it were cheaper but since it’s weight that’s going by post and not from a store I suppose it makes sense. ... show more
