These archival quality, static-free rice paper sleeves are a great choice for protecting your precious record collection. The rice paper adds a nice rigidity to the inner sleeves, and is sandwiched between two layers of 30 micron (appx 1.2mil) High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), with another layer of 30 micron protecting the other side of your 12" Record. This is a total of over 3mil plastic protection! These sleeves provide the best qualities of inner sleeves made out of paper or plastic.

    • Great inner sleeves
Since starting collecting vinyl earlier this year, this is my third pack of some sort of inner sleeve and definitely my favorite so far. First were Sleeve City, which are really nice, but a little thick, and not a rice paper style. Next were Invest in Vinyl rice paper inners. I like those, they're nice and thin, but a little... floppy? This time around I picked up these. They're slightly smaller than the Invest in Vinyl sleeves, so the fit on the records is a little more snug. There is also not as much of a gap between the paper and the edge of the sleeve, which increases the stability. Another reviewer mentioned the blue branding and I thought that was a weird thing to call out. But then I took these out of the package and laughed because it is definitely noticeable. I think the blue would be fine except for the large logo in the lower right. Overall, though, I've super happy with these sleeves so far. I haven't gone through the entire pack or used more than a handful, so hopefully previously reported QC issues miss me. ... show more

I won't be purchasing more of these. Need more rigidity. Personally prefer the mostly paper with plastic over the label

    • Good, but could be better
My biggest issue with these, and it's not that big, is the paper insert stops 1/4 to 1/2 inch before the bottom. Moving this down, or sealing the plastic closer, would make them nicer and slightly easier to use. As to complaints about them being too large, they are about 3/16" taller than a regular inner sleeve, based on the batch I have now. I'm not sure I'd consider this a problem as it actually seems to seal out dust and spores - just press gently on the cover to expel air before pushing the sleeve all the way in. Of course cutting 1/8" off the bottom (not the top, please) would help solve both these issues. I have, and intend to again, reordered these. ... show more

I would buy these over mofi sleeves, and I have been using mofi sleeves for 20 years. I would take 100 of these for $20 versus 50 for $25 of mofi sleeves. I can tell you mofi claims similar to rice paper and 3 ply, and I know these are 3 ply rice paper. I would recommend reading the details of each and than tell me why use mofi sleeves. I use these or mofi only on bad paper only sleeves. I have noticed that a lot of new releases are being done with higher quality paper plastic lined sleeves which are fine too. I would just use these or anything else over paper only sleeves which will and do scratch your records. ... show more
