after buying 2 terrible, poor quality, unusable dvd cases (Siveit & Yilag) I finally found what I needed - this Amazon Basics dvd case is sturdy and durable - expertly designed and contientiously manufactured of superior materials - the handle is bolted and also heavily stitched down to the base board so it easily bears the weight of 400 dvd's when carried - the pages turn easily when full with plenty of space to avoid warping and buckling - high quality for an excellent price - exactly what I wanted - ideal!

I purchased 4 of these for our DVD collection and I have them separated into 5 categories (I am using 1 of them for 2 of the categories due to the low amount of discs per category) and now it's going to be a lot easier to find a movie. I love that the handles are sewn into the case as opposed to my last one... one of my husband's old belts because with the case only being half full the plastic handle snapped right off. The belt worked great though! Now I don't have to worry about getting my hand ripped open when a handle pops off and the screw that was holding it in just tore apart my hand. One of the cases I got I noticed that the pages were upside down. The cool thing about these are that you can pull them out and switch them around! I would suggest doing it before you fill it up though I think that it would be a lot harder if the pages were full. They are very well made as far as I can tell. I have my first one almost half full and it hasn't torn at the seams like others I had (held together with waterproof medical tape, only thing that held) and the handle is very comfortable and not pinchy. For $25 you can't beat the price either! Holds 400 discs or 200 discs and artwork. I plan on getting a few of the smaller ones for music collections. I don't keep artwork and with music I write the tracks on an index card and slip it in front. I feel that if you're going to keep the artwork you might as well just keep them in the jewel cases. I don't have the room for that or the money to blow on tons of cases like these just to keep a picture. I buy labels so I know which ones go where. I would recommend these cases for anyone who is looking to downsize, organize, categorize or alphabetize their DVD/CD collections. They are really very nice and the low price doesn't mean it's low quality. Amazon has a winner in my book! Thanks Amazon! EDIT 2/11/22- As you can see in the photos, I label and number all of the pockets because I keep a booklet with what I have in each. I am going to be needing one more of these because our Rom/Com/Dram book has 9 slots left and I will be filling those up within the next few days. I absolutely love these! They are very sturdy and easy to carry even when they are full, as long as you keep it zipped. Yes, the sleeves will slip out if there is a lot of weight in the pockets, but it is also very easy to slide back into the book. I mentioned in my original review that one was backwards (they lean more to one side so it's easier if the open side of the pockets are facing up towards the top of the zipper) so it was easy to flip. And since they DO lean to one side and I am a little OCD with my collection, they stand up better if the beginning of the zippers are facing up or towards the front of the book. I absolutely love these! They are very well made and the handles can take the weight. Amazon did an awesome job with these and did their homework. I have had some where the handles broke off before they were half full (or half empty if you're THAT person 😆). Our collection is vast and I will keep buying these as long as they keep making them. These are 10 stars! And I applaud Amazon for this case and I highly recommend them for your hard copy collection.

Your solution to downsizing

I recently decided to downsize my collection by keeping my collection without the cases so I bought this and was very pleased. The build is high quality and durable for what it needs to do. It's durable, exceptional quality holds everything in place firmly, not flimsy at all, but I wouldn't recommend dropping it or throwing it around like a football, remember it's intended purpose and what contents are nside. The binders are tight and secure holding the discs in place. The spacing is another outstanding feature of the case. This case can hold hundreds of CDs, DVD's without zipping up too tight. The case measurements are so precise that everything fits perfectly and zips up smoothly and secure, no wobble. The only thing I would be careful about is carrying it by the handle, I don't. if you fill it up to capacity. Anytime you have that much weight on the handle could possibly break with any case, maybe not, but just cradle it when you transport it. I was so impressed by this case that I bought a few more. It's big

With a 400 disk capacity, this storage binder has to be pretty big. It's 2 disks down, 2 disks across, effectively fitting 8 disks on each sheet. It's well made and can comfortably fit 200 disks without worry of tear. Whether or not it can fit all 400 is unlikely--at that point, the handle would probably break based on the weight. But it does fit everything quite well, albeit being a little bulky to manage, and is a really good storage unit if you need to keep a lot of CD/DVDs in one place.

Very great item to organize your discs. I have over 1,000 discs and they were taking up so much space in the cases. I had to buy 3 The durability is great so far, and easy to carry, and is very light weight. The color is nice and discreet. Very simple to use, closes easy. The stability is great as well. The only thing is for a lot of discs it can be hard to keep the genres organized. There are about 3 sections in the disc album that kind of separate for organization, but not enough to be noticeable. I think label stickers should do the trick. Great product overall.

What a space-saver! Once you make the decision to get rid of the bulky jewel cases, you're home free. I already have a similar, same-size case, and can't tell you how handy it is. This one is just as good, and organization is a breeze. Every DVD comes in a jewel case with a title jacket. I cut out the index card-sized film description that's on the back, and slip it behind the DVD for those who must read those things. I do it, but it's certainly not necessary. Frankly, if people don't know what Jaws is about, I don't know what to say lol. With a case like this, accessing and storing DVDs (or CDs) is a breeze. I know streaming is popular, but there's a definite market for physical media. When FYE closed its stores, they were selling their vast inventory of DVDs at a price so cheap I couldn't believe it, and I stocked up--all genres, including documentaries, which I like, and old made-for-TV movies from the '70s and '80s. What a steal. I have the movies in my original case, which still isn't full, even though I have so many. I wanted another for TV series, mini-series, and TV Christmas movies. I was able to get rid of the smaller capacity "wallets" I'd used for those. You'll just love the convenience of this case. The discs slip in and out easily, and the case doesn't take up much space. (After the monstrosity we needed to store VHS tapes in the '80s, I said "No more furniture!") Thanks, again, to Amazon for the availability of this product at a great price.

Great CD cases, not to bulky, easy to organize.
Bought 2-3 of these during prime. They have held up excellent, look nice on the shelf. Not bulky, great value as on sale for $3.99 each. Will watch for another sale and add one more.
