These were well worth the purchase. They stack really well, and for the most part they are well made. Only a couple of the bowls were a little lumpy. They are easy to wash, and I haven’t seen any scratches yet. The only downsides are that the dinner plate is pretty large. If you need to reheat something and you have a spinning plate microwave that may be annoying because it may or may not fit depending on the size of your microwave. Like the product. The glossy black finish is very stylish. 2 of the four dinner plates had pinhead defect wherein the white of the base pottery shows through. Too much of a hassle to return. Glossy black finish looks great until you start seeing your finger prints when handling.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: These are beautiful plates... the matte black is actually black, not some strange color, and they have a hefty feel to them. Out of 30 pieces, only two were broken when they arrived. Upon arrival of my package I didn’t receive any broken dishes like I saw a few others mention.
