Just what I wanted to block leaves from crossing over from my neighbor who refuses to do them. I took my time finding one where the openings would be small enough to keep them from passing through. I like that it's not that noticeable which is also what I wanted - I don't think it would keep a dog of any weight in as it's well made, but light weight, but it's perfect for me. For some reason feeding the rod though the loops wasn't as easy as I thought, and I wasn't able to get all the poles all the way in not due to the pole but due to tree roots. I ordered four outdoor fencing panels that I intend to use to protect our garden from rabbits, and to protect repaired patches in the lawn from our dogs. The metal used is fairly lightweight, and the poles are hollow. I do not think they would stand up well to abuse, as they might receive if used as a kennel. They do however work well to discourage our dogs and neighborhood rabbits. They are supposed to be rustproof, but the description says it is the black paint coating that is rust-proof, and we all know that paint doesn't tend to last forever. I was impressed that it came with instructions even though the assembly seems pretty self-explanatory. Many more complex items come with no instructions, so I was impressed that they included instructions with these panels and stakes. The panels have a front and back, so it is important to line them up properly, especially if making an enclosure.The stakes are easy to guide through the numerous loops at the edges of the panels. The many loops ensures extra strength and security. To be secured, the pointed stakes need to be pushed or tapped into the ground; they go into the ground about eight inches. Once assembled, there appears to be just enough tension from the loops against the stakes that the stakes don't tend to drop right out of the loops. This makes the assembled structure easy to move. There is also a hole at the top of each stake, so you can use ties to hold the wire panel to the top of the stakes. The stakes also have a flat head, like a nail head, for easy pushing or pounding, and to prevent the panels from pulling loose from the stakes when trying to pull up the structure after it has been secured in the ground. I really can't think of anything negative to say about this product. It even arrived with one extra stake, just in case. Five stars! ... show more

This product does work as a good small animal deterrent. If your dog is small and does not like climbing up on things, this works for that too. I have a full sized Pomeranian (15lbs) that leans it over a bit. It does have structure and holds its own weight pretty well. All you need to install is a rubber mallet, so you don't chip off the paint with a hammer, so pretty easy to install. It looks good. But a little over priced in my opinion. ... show more

We have been attempting to plant landscaping around our house located at the edge of the woods. Several of the woodland inhabitants haven't received the memo yet that when we plant flowers, they are not fancy looking food. Or are they really? Regardless of the jury's decision, we still endeavor to protect the flowers and ground cover with these adjustable fences. This set from Honsreo is typical of the 32" - 33" variety of this style of fencing. Secured with drive-in metal stakes which also connect each adjoining panel, the barrier is a quick to setup solution to keep pets and children from the planting beds. A deer will easily step or jump over, but will often be nervous for the first several weeks and leave the beds alone. We have several panels protecting flower beds in the back yard. Deer regularly graze the lawn, but have been leery of the short fence. The nice thing about this type of fencing is it is compatible with other sections. So long as the metal stakes are the same diameter, you can mix and match varying seller's fences and expand your barrier as needed. Some of these fences have 3 loops on each end to join, others have 4. So long as the rod fits the loops, they will interact with their neighboring panel. Besides the functional ability, these panels are painted black and blend with the background and are not obtrusive. The weight of the metal is heavier than wire roll fencing and is quite sturdy. With drive in stakes, you won't be able to resist an animal or human leaning on the fencing, but these are not security fences, so be aware of their limits. ... show more
