They work but you must use small speaker wire and the clips are fairly stiff and hard to press (which is actually a good thing once you get the wire in them as the wire will not come out). The speaker wire I had (14 gauge) would not fit in the connector (even though it said it would work with 14 gauge wire). To make the wire fit I used some speaker connectors I had previously purchased. Worked like a charm with the speaker connectors. 4.5 stars. ... show more

Sometimes you just do not want to break out the soldering iron. These fit the bill and make for quick and easy installation. See sturdy enough to leave in place for permanent installation. Springs have plenty of tension to hold wires in place. Small enough to fit almost anywhere.

Still trying to figure out how these can be useful. Everytime I have tried to use them, since both the red and black connect to each individual plug they have been of no use.

Truth be told, I did not need a ten pack but for the price and function, this was the best product I could find. I had an older Bose 5.1 home theater system where all cords plugged into the sub (with RCA jacks). The center channel’s RCA jack was damaged beyond repair. So I ordered this product, hooked up the positive and negative wires, plugged in the RCA jack and boom! Fully restored system for just a few dollars. Totally worth it.     • Impossible to use with 12 gauge speaker wire
The description says can handle up to 200w, however, any cable capable of handling such power would NEVER fit into these tiny holes. Impossible to get 12 gauge speaker wire into it, probably couldn't do 14 either. Picture the wires coming off of a tiny PC speaker --- yeah, that would work. Line level wiring, sure.
