The product itself is good enough Quality, although it is a bit tough to open the clamp wide enough to make it around the fence pole. Making them where based on the size ordered the clamp would be already large enough for that size fence would make installation a lot easier. I ordered a lot of these packs due to having to cover a large area, unfortunately the seller mixed up some sizes, which I noticed only after installing most and wondering why some of the brackets were so loose. Having to uninstall them and return while waiting for the correct size to arrive added a lot of aggravation to my project that could have easily been avoided. The seller did exchange without any problems, though. After having installed these and adding the barb wire I have not had any more problems with predators climbing the fence to get at my chickens. ... show more

    • You need to manage rotation on the fence top rail.
We were pleasantly surprised. The arms (maybe called standards?) are fairly rigid, welded up from a fairly substantial sheet metal. The attachment bands, of the same sheet steel, "work," in that they attach the arm to your fence top rail. Two areas of concern: 1) the attaching bands will spin on the top rail, and 2) Top rails on chain link fences will spin. We used self-tapping screws to prevent the bands rotating on the top rail, as well as attaching the top rail to the rail end. The manufacturer did attempt to dull the cut edges of the arms, but they're still a little sharp. We started with 10 foot spacing, with 1/8" stainless braided wire rope, and found that we needed to go back for another set to have 5 foot spacing. It does look a bit like a prison yard, but our objective is to keep our dog in our yard without using fencepost extensions and replace the chain link fabric with taller material. ... show more

I needed to raise my fence. Didn’t use with barbed wire but used as a support for my “fencing” I choose. They were pretty easy to use and seems to hold up well. Very happy

These are absolutely disappointing 😞. Because of how they are made they do not stay t an angle or even straight up but can be twisted on the fence portion they are attached to. Wire can be loosened or removed and extension post can be turned to face completely down. We put them on the gate to prevent 2 of our dogs from going over...one is heavy enough and has learned to turn at least one pole down...thus opening the way for both dogs to leave the yard. ... show more

I have 3 dogs that came from abuse of situations. Trouble at the start of the pandemic learn to climb open Fence. Lot of people were walking their dogs because they could isolate better that way and be outside. So putting this on the fence, keep them inside and safe works great.
