These vanilla beans exceeded my expectations! As soon as I opened the package, I was greeted with an incredible vanilla aroma. The pods were fresh, plump, soft, and full of oils—exactly what I was hoping for. I purchased them specifically to make homemade vanilla extract, and they were perfect for the job. The beans were easy to split, packed with flavorful seeds, and looked like high-quality Grade A vanilla pods. I know homemade vanilla takes about three months to fully develop, so I haven't been able to taste the finished extract yet. Based on the quality of these beans, though, I'm really excited to see how it turns out. If the final product is anything like the quality of the beans themselves, I'm sure it will be fantastic. These vanilla beans were as quality as I've ever been exposed to, not saying much :) Seriously, the beans smell Soo good, they are plump tasty, and just really cool to handle and inhale. Love these pods! I used a fresh one to make homemade cream puffs with. They came out amazing! I put the rest of the beans into a bottle of vodka. They’ve been soaking for the last 2 months.
