I like that these are not grease proof, simply for the fact that they are not meant to be decorative, only to support my cake. I actually hot glue two together for doing a 12" tier for support, but I also use corn syrup to glue the board to my turn table and when they are grease proof the board becomes very slick and hard to handle. I would say if you want grease proof and decorative buy cake drums that are meant for that purpose. ... show more
