The price is better than other waterproof cases and I haven't seen any with better features. That said, there is room for improvement. The back is see through and therefore not great protection. And since iPads don't have wireless charging, there is no need for transparency. The transparent front is the same material which unfortunately, is very thin and not entirely taut- so I can feel it move slightly when using the screen. It does a great job at allowing touch activation even for the fingerprint sensor. The pencil holder is on the side when you hold your iPad vertically which makes holding the iPad more difficult. I put a standard no 2 pencil in the holder and it was loose (I don't have an apple pencil). I like that you can put the strap on either horizontally or vertically. The ports have plugs that are attached. It would be nice if additional plugs were included in case the plug breaks off and is lost. Putting the iPad into the case was tricky, I thought I had bought the wrong case! The trick is to put the side with the three sensors in first-hand if you don't, it won't fit in. Also, the instructions were stored inside the case so you had to open the case before reading the instructions.

My son threw his iPad over the fence into my neighbors yard. Thanks to this case, his iPad survived the throw, rain, & dogs chewing on it. So grateful for this case, worth every penny. Had bought a back up and now the iPad is ready for its next adventure. Will definitely buy again!

It doesn’t work well with clear screen for my work or scrolling. Wasn't going to return it (didn’t pay much-now I know why) I used a razor blade and cut out the clear screen from the inside, retaining all black trim and also removed the button cover. Installed a thicker clear screen protector and re assembled. Never planning to test waterproofing but it’s tight enough to provide decent water resistance. Love the sturdy frame of the cover.

My family and I are staying at Disneyland and my non verbal autistic son decided he wanted to go outside on the balcony to watch his iPad at the hotel. He somehow managed to drop it over the ledge of the balcony onto the roof of the hotel. Long story short I was able to get the iPad and it was not broken and didn’t even have a scratch on it.

Purchased this for my daughter to keep sand off her iPad at the beach. I double checked that I didn’t order the wrong size because her 9th gen iPad will absolutely not fit in this case. If you get the buttons to line up on one side, there’s no way to push the other side into the case without scratching up the iPad at the very least…and busting the glass at the very most. Find a different case—this one is junk and will be returned.
