These cookie jars are exactly what I wanted. Theyre a generous size, clear glass so you can see what's inside with no trouble, and they have a gasket-sealed lid, so theyre fairly airtight. The only complaint I have is that the lids themselves are very flimsy. The metal is very thin and the knob is held on with a simple screw and nut arrangement. This in and of itself is fine, but I have no doubt that this lid is going to rust sooner than later, which is very annoying. I have had bad experiences with this same type and quality of metal. This time I'm going to try to find a food-grade sealant spray, and perhaps if I coat it it will protect it from rusting. Since I only plan on using it for snacks and baked goods, it won't need to be washed too often and can be wiped for cleaning. The glass jars are sturdy, thick glass that isnt too heavy but is strong enough for regular handling. Everything washed up beautifully and I hand-dried the lids to prevent moisture from starting any rust. In all, I'm glad I got these. I'd be willing to pay an extra couple of bucks for lids made from higher quality metal.

I used these for art supplies and they fit well. I even placed used play dough in them and secured them for playing with the next day and they did not dry up at all. Which was great and very good for my art supply with my kids. They hold tight and they are airtight indeed. The lids are metal while the jar itself is glass. It holds a lot since each jar is a one-gallon jar. It comes with two jars and two lids.

Very easy to use and really allows my cookies to stay fresh and not dry up at all. You can also use it for so much more such as flour, dried beans, macaroni, marshmallow, and more. It is a good sized and holds a lot as well. It is easy to store and the glass is good quality.

Be careful because the glass on these is really thin, but if you keep them in your pantry or something these are great. They do a great job of keeping the inside sealed without any air escaping or coming in. I would recommend these to anyone who is looking to store their rice or similar thing

My family has been begging me to start baking more often and we usually have the issue where we just don't have a good storage solution once they're made. Well, that is no longer an issue with these large glass cookie jars. They are simple - glass jar and metal lid - but there's something elegant and classic about these that make them look great on the counter. The metal lids make a tight seal when closing the jars and the large size means you can fit a whole bunch of cookies in there. We are also using one of the jars to hold flour since we use that pretty frequently. Overall, these are perfect cookie jars and I hope that hold up over time (I think they will).

I placed a quart mason jar in front of these, so you can see how large they really are. Perfect for storing goods in the kitchen or pantry. Lids are simple metal with a knob. They are kind of thin but work great. The seal is on the jar itself, which I like, as you don't have to clean it when cleaning the lid. Good weight glass, similar to canning jars. Not quite as thick but in that range. For some reason, large jars like this are hard to find or way too pricey. These fit the budget and the job they are wanted for. Exciting to get organized, and even nicer to have it look so good.
