I used these locking castors on a couple of my shop tools which were mounted on metal stands because I didn't want to raise the height of my working surface any more than I needed. They were not the sturdiest of lockable castors, but they did the job in the amount of space allotted for them.

I am impressed with these small casters. They work great on our ikea ottoman. Installation was easy since they screwed right in to the existing threads. The ottoman is so heavy that moving it was a real chore, but now it moves with little effort, and the wheels lock so it stays where you put it, too. ... show more

    • These can handle the way but don't lock in place very well.
I have these mounted on a stand for my drill press and a belt sander. They hold the weight well and are very stable. When unlocked they move effortlessly and turn freely. My only complaint for these wheels is they do not have enough of a rubbery surface so even when they are locked it is easy to move the table they are attached to. They stood across the floor locked too easily. I wish there was more of a high-friction surface along the circumference. Because I don't put too much lateral force on the stand it is not really an issue but if it is for something that will be bumped into or has a horizontal Force applied they will probably move a little bit even when locked. ... show more

Received on time and easy very easy replacing the old ones . Using on wood floors, rolls easily with no problems. The caster have a soft roll with the braking quick to find and use. Great investment, will order again.
