So sometimes I buy things just in case I might need it and a lot of times it'll sit in the garage until who knows when And this rope was nothing less than that. But then I needed to replace a huge portion of the fence in my backyard and we had no idea what was in the ground supporting the posts. We started digging and we came across these huge cement blocks that were deep in the ground and heavy as hell And my buddy who was helping me said you know we need a good piece of strong rope to lift these things out and I immediately ran and got the rope and we looped it around the block and pulled that block right out of the ground and it kept us working. Turns out the rope is well made and easy to tie and now I'll wrap it back up and put it back in the garage waiting for the next time I need it. If you don't have a piece of rope like this it's good and strong and well made sitting in your garage You're missing out because one of these days you're going to need it.

I used this rope to build a swing for my kids, and it’s been working great. With a rated static strength of 9,000 lbs, it easily meets all the safety needs for a backyard swing setup. It holds weight very securely, and the smooth surface doesn’t hurt your hands, which is perfect for family use. The rope is made of high-strength polyester with a 48-strand braided design, giving it excellent tensile strength and durability. I also used it for tree pulling, and even under a lot of tension, there were no signs of wear or stretching. Plus, the material seems UV- and weather-resistant，even after sun and rain exposure, it stayed strong and reliable. At 1/2 inch thick, it feels sturdy in the hand. It’s a bit stiff, but not too hard to work with. It’s easy to grip, and while tying or untying knots takes a little patience, it doesn’t slip or fray. The 100 ft length is very practical for a range of outdoor jobs like climbing, rigging, or building larger swings. One small thing to note，the rope had a slight chemical smell when first opened, but that went away after airing it out for a few days.

This is really nice rope. It is very heavy duty and seems extremely wear resistant. I have been using this for arborist work and I have no complaints for the price. I would recommend this for any use especially in a high wear situation.

Pretty gnarly rope. Has stretching ability to prevent breakage which is always welcome in my book. You get a decent length. Gave me the ability to strap a mattress to my vehicle roof and take it to storage, no issues. Useable in a bunch of situations from climbing to tying. I have yet to try and tow with it but I am sure it would be fine, this is really strong rope. Great value for the dollar.

I am impressed with the quality of this rope for the cost., Now...I don't plan to use this for climbing anything, but wanted some quality rope to have on hand at the cabin. I don't know that this rope is exactly 1/2"...but it does appear to be well made. The package I received did not have any frayed ends and the rope itself feels well made. I did try it out a little and threw it over a branch and tied a Swiss seat to check its sturdiness. I weigh 245 and it held me with no issues. Whether you're using it for climbing, swing sets or whatever, this is a quality product.

Nice rigging rope that actually measures between 11.8 and 12.3mm along the length. My biggest issue was the sheathing. The feel was rougher than most my other ropes and I can feel noticeable movement over the inner strands. This helped straighten the cording out from the shipping spool, but gives me pause on inner twisting and that variance on the thickness. I would not trust this on my person, but it is perfect for manipulating larger limbs and tying off gear around the farm. The limb work was ok, but that roughness was noticeable when pulling the lengths over branches. Tying off and drop control was where I found the 12mm and extra grip standing out.

This 1/2" x 100' rope was a higher quality than I was expecting. Color matches the product images and has a standard flexible rope feel. For the price, I was expecting something a lot stiffer and rougher (or worse, slicker). What I received was a good looking, flexible rope with a tough, but not rough exterior. They did a good job sealing the ends and the outer weaving looks clean and tight. This 50' is small and light enough to be kept in the trunk of the car/truck for emergencies.
