NOT DOUBLE BRAID!!!! I should’ve returned this rope. Disgusting that the information says that it’s double braided It is absolutely not double braid. The inner core is parallel. Maybe I’d give it five stars cause it’s pretty good for what it is, but the information is not correct and that irritates me. 5/25/26 update …. seller is excellent and reached out to me…. yes this is still not double-braid, but I’m changing this from 1-star to 5-stars because they resolved my issue ... show more

I had an 80' manlift available for a few days and I got an idea to install a pulley and this rope high onto a sturdy tree limb 50' up- I made a "Skyhook". I use it to drain/dry hoses for winter storage and hang tarps / shade sails to dry after cleaning. I suppose I could hoist up a flag or maybe even a burglar, if necessary. Maybe even "fly" a Halloween witch? This is so nice, it works very well. I washed/Cloroxed a big sail cloth yesterday in a roll-around recycle tote, then rolled the tote to this "skyhook" and hoisted it out of the tote to dry. Not sure how long this will last in the weather and sun, time will tell. The listing DID state it was U/V protected. So far it still seems new after 6 months. ... show more

This is great if its what you’re looking for. This is static rope and is quite stiff. I would say not great for knots overall, especially small knots you are trying to cinch tight to a carabiner or something. Great for what I needed

Beautiful, but way too stiff. It's near impossible to tie any kind of knot. I'm thinking the cover it way too tight.
