I used this for a 9,000-watt portable generator and it worked fine. I'd suggest that it is light-duty and not to be used for underground burial--nowhere did it say either way. The instructions for assembling the threaded fitting were confusing. The yellow split bushing should be expanded to fit over the metal tubing into the last "groove" of the corrugated pipe, The nut then slides over its smaller diameter section to prevent it from ever sliding past/over the corrugation. You will need to remove approximately two groves worth of vinyl for this to occur. I had to cut it to length and took pliers and crushed the corrugated tubing. It bent fairly easily but never broke at the machine-welded seam.

NORSGATEN: ½” CSST (Corrugated Stainless-Steel Tubing) Gas Line, 98’ Long, w/ ½” NPT Fittings This product is the newer method of conveying propane or natural gas to commonly used gas appliances in a home or shop building. This tubing is made of a continuous, corrugated Type 304 stainless-steel material that has a strong and tough flame-retardant PVC covering. The bright yellow PVC polymer covering is designed to protect the 304 stainless-steel tubing from damage and, by its bright yellow color, to immediately identify the tubing as containing fuel gas. This product has a nominal inside diameter of ½” and the stated length of the tubing is 98-feet (30m). The tubing is supplied with a pair of solid brass terminal fittings to provide the end of the tubing with a ½”-Male NPT threaded connection for connecting the tubing to other fittings or a manifold. This tubing product is very flexible but care must be taken not to kink the tubing during installation and thus possibly reducing the gas flow through the tubing. This tubing is capable of conveying up to 100,000 BTU/h at the standard pressure of 11” WC (WC = water column, a legacy pressure measurement method and scale) which is equivalent to a measured pressure of 0.397 PSI (or slightly less than ½ PSI). This quality makes this product suitable for supplying gas to most U.S. standard gas appliances with a ½” NPT gas connection. Thes appliances include water heaters, generators, fireplaces, and clothes dryers. It may also include grills, pizza ovens, patio heaters, and fire pits assuming a ½” NPT gas connection. Gas appliances which require more gas flow will have a ¾” or 1” gas connection, and a concomitantly higher gas flow rate, and will require a similarly size gas tubing connection to supply the needed gas. I am planning for the installation of several propane gas lines in my home to provide gas for a propane-fuel gas clothes dryer, a ceramic radiant heater for the Master Bathroom, and at some time in the future a large gas stove and a propane-fueled water heater. I will be installing the lines in preparation for these upgrades and want to make absolutely sure that the gas lines are properly and safely installed. This product will provide gas connections for several of these appliances and I look forward to be being warmer in the winter and having clothes dried in half of the currently required time. I am very happy with this product.

I got this 1/2" CSST Gas Line for Natural Gas & Propane | Flexible Corrugated Stainless Steel Gas Tubing with PVC Cover, Brass Fittings Included | Gas Pipe for Grills, Heaters, Stoves, Generators (98ft) and it is very well made! Setting it was pretty simple. Even though it was my first connecting the ends on this type of pipe, it was no problem. I was able to move my natural gas Grill to the other side of the yard and had plenty of pipe left over. It has had no leaks and functions just as described. It is a great value for the length of pipe you get. I would recommend this for sure!
