For the money this is pretty good flux line. Only 2 minor issues (which were easily remedied) were; whatever coating came from the factory on the wire (not the flux) caused a drag in my machine which would stutter step the feed after extended use. Easy fix was just open up and clean everything out each time. Second is it had a bit more spatter when compared to another "name brand" wire I bought in person. Nothing a grinder/wire wheel couldnt take care of but did seem to splatter a bit more. And yes my machine is set up for appropriate polarity for flux core welding. All in all if you are a DIY'er, or dont mind a bit more grinding clean up its definitely worth it in terms of value. Welds all appear strong and serving their base function and maybe others didnt have the drag issue i did. Would definitely consider buying again.

If you buy these at the big box stores or any hardware store, they’re fairly expensive by themselves. However, when you buy them in a three pack off of Amazon, they are a really good price. I have a wire feed Welder and I have purchased probably 10 to 12 of these spools of wire for my welder and I’ve never had any problems with them at all. I like that they come shrink wrapped and tightly bound so there’s no loose spool when you go to put it on your welder. And when I buy them by the three pack, I’ve always got back ups when I need them. I recommend this brand, good quality product and always available. Perfect for those wire feed welding jobs that you might have.

For gasless wire this type of flux core wire is great . built many things with wire from grills fire pits and all metal back porch . Even a bend test and passed in the 2-3g position . Easy to use less spatter than any other gasless wire I used . Recommend cleaning base material before welding tho
