This is made pretty well. It appears to be of the same quality as the original from Garmin. However, the tolerances were not very good on the latch. I had to shave it with a file to get it to snap into place securely (like the one that came with my striker 4). Other than that, I am happy with the purchase. If you use your striker 4 in an ice fishing bundle, this tilt/ swivel mount may not snap in well to that base because of the tolerance differences. Mine didn't, but I will just leave this one on my boat so it is not an issue for me. ... show more
