Description

Well 007 First Light is available now, I've only played about an hour, and it was very good. I felt like a spy, and the action sequence, plus Lana Del Rey's opening theme, which was the first time I heard it, was awesome! Although, I have other favorite Bond themes, like A View to a Kill, Living Daylights, etc. Definitely better than Billie Eillsh's No Time to Die imo. Game arrived in a paper envelope almost in the evening, the only bad thing about ordering online, I had a chance to pre-order the game at another retailer, but I said, "I pre-ordered at AMZN for the exclusive packaging" Unfortunately it doesn't look like the advertisement, just the artwork, but the case is still a normal blue PS5 case. I was expecting some "special packaging" the black case in the promo art would have been cooler. At least I get the deluxe upgrade and tuxedo I guess, a Steelbook would have been awesome too! So far the game is great, no spoilers, it does remind me of Uncharted, Hitman, and I guess Watch Dogs. I don't play Hitman anymore, and I gave up on Watch Dogs, but I love some Uncharted. I'm just happy to be playing as James Bond in 3rd person though, in a action game not just a shooter. Overall, I would recommend it for fans of those games, and who love the Bond franchise. Maybe Patrick Gibson should play the next James Bond in films. He's already Bond in video games, go with an actor like Christopher Reeve, they did it with Superman the Movie, and the film did well.

Don't waste your time unless you just want the gold gun or collector's item. As far as the game the disc it never played. Never read freshed out of the case game wouldn't even work. money wasted just to turn around an order the digital version. You see the proof in the picture. I am very disappointed. Waited the anticipation. $300 later nothing

If you are familiar with the Hitman games it is similar in the sense where you get dropped into these large sandbox areas where you are expected to figure things out as you navigate the area but unlike Hitman the mission doesn't end if your cover is blown as First Light is just as much an action shooter game as it is a stealth game and i feel it does a good job balancing the two. The game isnt perfect but the gripes I have are fairly minor. Its definitely one of the better games I have played in the past couple years and dont regret paying full price for it

So I got tricked with the early positive reviews. Game is extremely clunky. The stealth is meh. The shooting and combat, which a lot of time gets forced onto you, is really subpar and underwhelming. Driving sections, especially pre mission make you wonder how much more time they could've spent polishing the core game experience. It's a beautiful game but it's extremely linear and lacking any depth. There's no depth that allows you creativity or to excel at using tools or weapons provided to you. I suppose if you really enjoyed Uncharted, you'll at least find this as a decent game. But hardcore Hitman players will likely find this disappointing.

Awesome collection. Finally a big budget single player game I could beat in a weekend. Keep them coming. All around Bond fan and gotta say liking the origin story. Golden gun is pretty epic. Nice quality all around. Can’t take the Golden gun out of the stand. Im ehh on that but I know why lol. Download is required with the disc.

I was surprised that Amazon MGM Studios was involved in making this game. It felt like I was actually in a 007 movie. Amazon MGM Studios should make more video games like this! If they want to make a new 007 video game franchise, that would be cool, but I think they have the potential to make another video game using the same gameplay features as this one but with a new original character or another character that’s famous in pop culture like James Bond.

I’m sure the game will be really good however I pre-ordered the game but did not received a code for the deluxe edition unlocks. I was concerned that this might happen and unfortunately it has. Shame on the publisher iOi for not making this process seamless after they expect customers to trust them with a pre order purchase.
