I purchased your sleeping bag because many years ago I want on another camping trip and the temperature dropped down to the fifties. During my previous camping trip I pur'chased a plain sleeping bag and I froze and was unable to sleep all night. This time I decided to purchase your sleeping bag because it was made for cold weather camping. When I first opened up the sleeping bag I thought oh no the fabric is so thin I'm going to freeze again. Well I was so surprised by the warmth and comfort this sleeping bag gave me. This is a very reliable sleeping back for temps (so far tested by me ) from 30 degrees F to 85 degrees F. I am a guy who does run a tad "hotter" than most so my compliant may be even more invalid. But this bag WILL KEEEP you warm and cozy. I wish the zipper was on the left hand side when laying in the bag, but that's just me. I got over it pretty quickly. Good light weight - not extreme, but for new hikers/backpack campers you can easily trek this for a 4-6 mile hike and not have to worry about it dragging you down. Fits great and compact, especially the more muscle you put into rolling it. I got it almost 1/2 the size smaller but putting all my might and it really did give me room to add my blow up mattress and air pump in. When I get to warm, I just unzip! The head/hood feature is nice to as it will "lock" in your pillow. Not sure how it does in direct high wind, but the material is good and thick. Like 99.9% of ALL sleeping bags - it doesn't like water, even mist. Takes a few hours to fully dry in the sun. But - that's camping! ... show more

I used this on a backpacking trip. It got down to about 29-30° at night and I stayed nice and cozy. I’m 5’11” and kind of big and I felt comfortable in it. I had enough room to roll around carefully. The little flap on the inside keeps all the cold air out. I also used this bag on a 40° night and I liked that I could unzip just the bottom to let my toes get some air. I LOVE this sleeping bag, but it did take up a lot of space in my backpack. The stuff sack worked well but it still was kind of big. I’m still in the market for another sleeping bag that I can use for backpacking (in warmer temps) that will pack up a little smaller. ... show more

I haven't purchased a lot of sleeping bags in my life, so maybe my opinion isn't very strong. But I will say after spending some time doing prior research, that I went in knowing that the temperature ranges can be based around marketing and not real world certified ratings. Especially when it comes to "off brand" attire in general. I will say though that I was pleasantly surprised by how well these performed, however I did not attempt to use them (bought 2) below 35'F, and I have a feeling they wouldn't keep you alive at 0 as claimed. With that being said they are light weight, soft and overall comfortable. I did wear wool long underwear and socks though, but that often is a normal thing for people. So in turn that may have helped their performance. Regardless I am not sure how many people see a 0 degree rated bag at this price point and hold high expectations. If you do, keep in mind that it's most likely certified and the manufacturer figures it can "trick" people. In the end if you are looking for something comfortable, soft and at least warm down to freezing they are worth picking up. ... show more

I got this bag today so I haven’t taken it camping yet. I mainly bought it for inside though since my room is cold in the winter. I already sleep with a quilt and a Coleman oversized blanket and I’m still cold. So I tried out this sleeping bag and believe me in about 30-40 minutes it got too hot for me. So I do believe it will be good for camping. It will be great! I’m 5’6” and it’s a little long but that doesn’t matter. You’re supposed to just fold it under. They recommend to sleep with a hat and clothes on and a pad underneath. Nice bag. If I get too cold in my room I now have the option to unzip it and put it under the Coleman blanket. Good for power outages or car emergencies too! ... show more

Very comfortable, but rips easy and ripped on my trip by simply zipping it up. And says 0 degrees rating. If you only bring this bag in 0 degree conditions, promise your gonna be miserable. After many times using it in cold and hot weather, realistically I'd say this bag is good down to like 40F, anything lower your gonna be uncomfortable.
