Purchased the 1 ct princess cut earrings as a Christmas gift for my wife. Earrings arrived the day after in a small black velvet box. These were a somewhat last minute gift as she happened to mention she wanted some everyday diamond earrings. The bar was set low, as she also said that she didn’t even care if they were fake, as long as, they didn’t turn her ears green. After a quick but decently thorough search, I chose these. The price seemed quite reasonable compared to others that I had seen. Note: a few years back I went through and completed the process of learning about diamond earrings. Which was extremely time consuming and entailed everything from Companies, weight, cut, clarity, settings etc. The final decision totaled ~15k ,~19k appraised. The earrings purchased from Houston Diamond District where as expected, if not better. As described above, the purpose for the earrings were for everyday use and seem to fit the bill perfectly. They are quite beautiful and many complements have been made. One of the main reasons I purchased these particular earrings was for the setting. Namely for the earring backs. My wife, and daughter for that matter, are notorious for losing earrings because of the back falling out. The backs of these earrings screw on which should eliminate losing an earring, at least from falling out. Again, these are not the high dollar, better get insured earrings that are THE PERFECT DIAMONDS, but for the price, they are great. The earrings also came with a certificate, which if I’m being honest, I only glanced at. It stated that the earrings were valvued at ~3,500. Though I can’t state anything to the authenticity at this time, having only paid ~1,100, it could have made this purchase even better. ... show more

These are diamond earrings. They are beautiful. However, One of the screw backs came loose and I lost it. I have tried to replace the backs. One I ordered was too small. The second one I ordered was too large. I was hoping to get some help on ordered the right one. Thank you B

The diamonds themselves, are beautiful! However, where the threads are for the screw on backs, is a big problem. The metal is a ‘raw’ metal. It’s not the shiny 14k white gold, as the rest of the earring. Just an FYI for others who have a metal allergy.
