I got the size 8 and they fit really well. The heel isn't super high, so these are pretty comfortable to walk in. The calf area isn't fitted on me, but they aren't so wide as to be uncomfortable. There's no rub against my legs around the edges or where the little fold over tabs are on the top edges that irritate my skin. That's a huge plus for me. I did wind up walking a quarter mile in these by parking in the wrong spot, then going up and down stairs and ramps over and over and over. My feet were aching, but it wasn't too bad for me walking in these for over an hour, nonstop, after only having worn these twice before for shorter periods of time. Insoles will improve the comfort of any shoe. I'll definitely get some for these. They were super comfortable otherwise and looked great with a knee length dress. I've worn these to the office and out at meetings with clients. I've gotten compliments all five times total that I've worn them, so they're winners to me. I'd definitely buy again for the great fit and comfort of them, as well as the look of them. They'll let me wear knee length dresses and skirts in winter. Really pleased with these. ... show more

I am a 7.5 and ordered a 7.5 boot. These boots are slightly large, which is easily solved by wearing thicker socks. The boots are quite comfortable. I have large calves so I was concerned I wouldn’t be able to pull them all the way up, but I was able to do so. The upper part of the boot is soft, supple, and flexible. This makes them comfortable to wear as they do not chafe of my legs. I’ve taken a photo to show how easily they flop over. Sometimes items you order just surprise you with their high quality. You always hope for it, but it's not always the case. With these boots I was REALLY pleasantly surprised. I've owned cheaper boots before that are stiff and really dig into your calves. That is not at all how these are! They look stiff at first because they're packaged really well with foam supports to keep their shape, but once you remove them the leather is so soft and just flops over. I was so happy to see this and it makes a huge difference when you're wearing them. The heel is just the right size and makes them really comfortable to wear. The point is also not super drastic so your toes also feel very comfortable. Size-wise I normally wear a 7 but only an 8 was available to order so I got the 8 and honestly they still fit really comfortably. I think they are true to being an 8 because they were a little big so i'm wearing thicker socks. Go with the size you normally wear and you'll be happy. It was accurate. I would say these are high quality boots, definitely worth the cost and if you're planning to wear them out for a long night I think you'll be extremely comfortable and happy with your choice! ... show more

these boots are so cute! They are definitely the perfect cowboy if you wanna be really girly! I usually wear a size 8 1/2 and I got a size 8 in these and they fit me perfectly to the point where I have enough room to wear a thicker sock if I wanted to. It’s definitely a fake leather type of material, and I think that these boots will be extremely easy to clean if you get mud on them or something! these with a cute little flowy dress!!! they smell a little bit like plastic when you first take them out of the packaging, but the smell goes away after a short period of time. I also really appreciate the fact that these come with a insert to keep the boots shape… although I wish this one wasn’t made out of Styrofoam, but that’s just a personal preference. I ordered these for my daughter who wanted them for the Luke Bryan concert. They are SO FUN! She received so many compliments at the concert, it was crazy! All of her friends are begging her to let them borrow the boots! They are very comfortable-she wore them to a concert where she did not have seat tickets, meaning she was standing up the whole entire time. Not one complaint from her about the shoes.
