I was so happy when I found these boots (with a great price, too!) that I really wanted to like them and keep them. The fit was what I expected. I had read previous reviews about tight toe space, wide calf opening, etc. I ordered my usual size of 7.5 and found that the fit was true to size and the calf opening was not gapping. (I have slender legs, too). The quality was good for the price and the heel height was perfect. I decided to send the boots back because I could tell that the heel part would give me problems if I wore them for an extended period of time. I had seen that concern in the some of the reviews, but I figured that either thick socks or knee-high hose would remedy that problem. Unfortunately, my heel still had a tendency to "move around" too much. I could tell that this would be a deal breaker for me, and I was very disappointed. I would still recommend these boots. I HATE wearing shoes. I wear flip flops 90% of the time. The other 10% is when it's rainy or cold and I wear these boots. These are hands down the most comfortable real shoes I've ever owned. I can wear these all day and walk all day and my feet never hurt or get blisters or anything. There is a tiny pocket on the inside at the top which is an awesome place to carry some cash or a card. I will absolutely be buying a couple more pairs of these boots. I also really appreciate that they go down to a size five. I have a very small foot so it's hard to find nice shoes that fit me without shopping in the kids section which I hate doing because everything is so cutesy and not my style. ... show more
